Status: online 		  Holy **** and you thought Halo was big at 300. 

Take-Two coughed up Grand Theft Auto IV's first-week sales numbers early this morning, and as predicted, they're absolutely huge. The free-roaming crime drama racked up over $500 million in worldwide sales over its first week, setting a new record for interactive entertainment. The previous record holder, Halo 3, "only" mustered about $300 million.

Status: online 		Yeah I am guessing the sequels to Resistance and Gears are going to throw up some pretty sick numbers too.  Especially considering those on console specific

Status: online 		Ya they'll be big but I don't think they'll come close to GTA's numbers.  Losing 10-15 million people in possible sales just because your exclusive to one console will kill the chance of breaking that record.

Why does SONY need our prayers?  I've been tempted to buy another PS3 after the price dropped...but most games I want are on both platforms. I still prefer the online features and graphic interface of the 360.
