I finally figured out the trick with using the sniper rifles today. When you line someone up, you have to make sure the crosshairs stay on them for a second before you pull the trigger. Stay patient and wait for ths shot and it's a 1HK no prob.

With that said, I played at ambush today using the sniper rifle. I start out near the building with the propane tank on it that overlooks the road in the middle. I switch immediately to my pistol, taking out somone nearby. I then take his S.A.W. and head up the building placing some strategic claymores along the way....
Uding the top of this building and doing some quick running/jumping here and there I managed to snipe/and machine gun my way to my best round victory of......drumroll.......29-2

I had the 30th kill in last stand mode with my finger squeezing the trigger and BAM!!.... time over

So that's my COD4 story for now... let's hear yours'

The first night i played online........(im like jay, im terrible but nonetheless) I saw ryan was playing so i went to join session in progress. Well IT was bascially all of TGV vs a bunch of random dudes and im on the random dudes team. I killed a couple of you at least with the sniper........anyway I heard the next day the first person i shot was like "IS THAT F'ing OP up there snipeing me?" and someone else is like "IT IS!" I nearly pissed mself when ryan told me the story. I guess you had to be there! lol

My favorite story from the game comes from watching and listening to a friend scream in excitement as he was involved in a 20 second close quarter’s battle with a guy. They both emptied all of their clips towards one another, then they switched to pistols, and finally my friend killed his opponent with a knife only to be taken out by the guy’s martyrdom grenade. I laughed so hard that I couldn’t play my own game.

My story would be "team deathmatch"

A few times it comes down to the last kill, and I LOVE stealing it...
I've done it a few times. One time,

The clock ticking, we're down 1 kill, and I line up two idiots in the last 2 seconds literally and mow them down for the victory!!

"We've taken the lead!!!!" Just as it ends. Pure f'n joy through-out my soul!!!

Likewise, one time my buddy and I we're killed in the same way for a loss.
Not something I wanna feel again anytime soon.

It’s crazy when both team scores are close to 750, especially on a map like Abandoned where there can be a ton a kills in a short period of time. One time, at band camp, I threw a grenade blindly through a window and then stabbed a guy accidentally. I expected the +10 for the knife kill, but what I didn’t expect was the +30 I received for the grenade kill. I realize that I had gotten lucky but with those 4 kills it gave us a 750 to 740 victory. I was super stoked. I didn’t have my mic on but I can assure you I was quite vocal with my celebration. Up till that point, I had a horrible game.
