This is an issue since a PSP file can be hacked.  I am not an admin so I don't know how you want to go about doing this.  What will the consequences be for someone caught cheating in a game?

What types of cheats can be exploited using said technique?

Since you can hack the game, god you can do just about everything.

These are the things I have seen:
Your stats can all be maxed out.
You can drive the ball 600 yards (300 is a good max amount normally)
No matter how many strokes it takes you to get it in the hole, it always counts as one.  So every hole you get a hole-in-one.

IM the max attributes cant be verified(as you never know if it was legit or not) but the other 2 if are used in the league or against anyone here you are banned! JMO!

People use them but they cant use them here.

Those sound typical   - thanfully most of them are recognizable and easily avoidable; if someone witnesses such an act then they should immediately report the perpitrator so that an investigation can commence.

The  Maxed Stat cheat sound the most 'iffy' to me.  Are you saying that they will have 100% control, spin, impact, etc?  If so, does Player 2 have the ability to view/confirm that information at anytime during the match?

You can tell if someone is cheating with the max attributes.

There are 4 levels
Control
Impact
Spin
Superspin

They can be anywhere from Level 1-30.

If someone has Level 30 for all the attributes, they are cheating because that is impossible.  Just like with Out of Bounds, there is always a give and take with any attributes.

yeah when you start up a game you get to see the others persons character they are using, gear equipped. and their stats.

So yes you can see if someone is cheating with stats, but you can tell before a game even starts.

Good deal.  So it sounds as if all of the cheats can be visually confirmed?  If thats the case then the rule is simple - if player A shows visual (photo, etc) proof that player B cheated, player B would be banned without a chance to appeal.  If player A accuses B without proof then both player accounts would be in a probationary phase until the matter was resolved.

Its really bad when you are playing online tournaments. Usually you can visually tell right off the start until I saw the one that makes all your shots hole-in-one.

Sounds like the daily cheaters on Tiger from years past.  Takes all the fun out of it for everyone else.
