Maybe we could list some custom classes or perks that people find effective for certain maps or situations.

I usually tryout each new perk as a get it but haven't bothered with trying to find the perfect combinations for certain maps.

I like the last stand perk because I'm crap and it gets me a few cheap kills

Same thing with the Martyrdom, the odd cheap kill after you die.

Mx's tip

quote:

To anyone who's reached the level where you get the "Double Tap" perk...
I STRONGLY recommend you try out this combination:
M-16->Silencer->Double Tap perk
Deadly accurate, you don't show up on radar, and if you hit them in the upper body/head they're dead in one three round burst!!!!

I think the last stand is my favorite one as well.  I've gotten 3 kills lying on the ground half dead.  At least 100 kills overall with this perk that I would not have had otherwise.  Martyrdom is ok but a skilled player will usually get out of the way unless it's in real tight quarters.

Iron lung, UAV jammer, C4x2 or Claymore is good for sniping...set up a trip wire on them and anyone with a 3kill will not see you with UAV jammer while Iron lung lets you hold your breath longer.

I've got different perks for each class but I don't remember off the top of my head, I'll try to remember and post them later.

I pair martyrdom with the shotty and slight of hand. Great combination for close quarters and since you're close up the nade has a good chance of getting your killer

Have you guy's realized you can carry (2) primary weapon's yet ??
All you need to do is this..... If you come across a firearm left behind just switch to your pistol and then hold the Square button to pick it up.... it will replace your Pistol and you will have to rifles.
You can do it leigit once you rank up high enough.... but till then if you see a gun... pick it up ...

I didn't know that.   Thanks for the tip.  Does last stand pull out the weapon you picked up since you dropped your pistol?

Nope. When last stand kicks in you'll have a pistol somehow. Magic I guess
I was gonna post about this, but Karl beat me to it

got all but 2 or 3 weapons left and im still in love with the m-16 with double tap i dont use a silencer takes 2 much range off the gun . if some1 does not have juggernut on it kills in 1 three round burst 2 in they have it. also u dont spray all over the place  and i most allways have deep impact on get way more kills on people hideing behind walls then i do with any other perk. and the trip set mines are sweet just drop them anywhere u get 2 everytime u die .

Resistance players should like this combination.
If you don't have the Overkill perk try useing:
AK-47[red dot scope] Juggernaut Steady Aim (Bandolier for perk 1 if you have it. Also you can substitute Stopping Power for Juggernaut)

If you do have the Overkill perk try:
AK-47[red dot scope] M-16[red dot scope] Bandolier Overkill Steady Aim

These combinations are good for some run,gun and slash playing
The AK-47 is deadly from the hip at close range and at mid range with the RDS it's just as deadly.
For that distance where the AK is a little unreliable the M-16 with the RDS comes into play

the m16 with RDS, Double tap is my favorite weapon. I also like to poop out a grenade when killed, gets those knife happy guys most of the time. I like that combo so much I hardly use anything else. I rank up slower but I`m in the top two or three almost every match. I just got the G36C I need to use it some more to get the RDS, then I think it will be a good weapon. but it does climb a little. M16 is balls on accurate, and almost no muzzle climb. but the most fun is to run into a room with a handful of enemys all looking out the windows and you stick your knife in all thier necks one By one. yee F@ck`in Hah!

Wait till you get the Desert Eagle. I'll put away my assault rifle in a building and go room clearing with it Only takes 2-3 shots to kill someone depending on if they have juggernaut equipped. Also I loooooove the G3 with the red dot scope and stopping power added. If you can get used to using a single shot gun, you'll love it too, it's spot on accurate at almost any distance and already powerful without the stopping power perk added

So I get to level 52 and unlock the MP44
I'm all excited to use it.. play a FFA with it and go to barracks to check the challenges for it. You can't equip any scopes on it.
I was disappointed until I decided to go with:
MP44-->Bandolier-->Double Tap-->Steady Aim
Now.. I love the MP44

Currently I'm using the G36 w/ Red Dot, Double-Tap & Last Stand... but the AK-47 w/Silencer, Double-Tap and Last Stand has been my bread and butter until yesterday.

I have also found the the AGO36 (sp?) Scope is complete crap in the Sniper Rifles.  You dont need to use (actually, cant) "take a breath" when using it, but it still sways around and also diminishes the range considerably.

I use Sub-Machine Guns on the "Vacant" level with Stopping Power & Martyrdum.  Once I have most of my SMG perks I'll start using the Shotty for that level.

No matter what Unlock or what challenges I complete I always come back to Ole Faithful

M16 - Red Dot
P1 - 3 Frags
P2 - Stopping Power
p3 - Deep impact

One Squeeze of the trigger and one 3 round burst is good for a Kill, and with Deep impact i can kill em through walls

Although i do find myself using the G36C with Red Dot on Small maps

The silenced carbine with bandolier stopping power and deep impact has been a good dear friend to me as of late. I wasn't really very thrilled with the carbine until pairing it with stopping power. Sometimes I switch out deep impact with dead silence if it's a board with a lot of close quaters so I can run, slash and shoot without being heard

Anyone put any time into trying any of the bolt action sniper rifles with the ACOG attachment? The first time I tried this I didn't like it at all, but after messing around with the perks I've come to like it a lot. I recommend trying the M40A3 with the ACOG if you have it, with slight of hand as perk 2. From mid to (sort of) long range it's deadly and has 6 rounds. After you get used to using it, switch to stopping power as perk 2.
