Just went online with a couple of guys I know from COD4 (just in friends mode so far) it was a lot of fun seeing what you can do...... we tried the following ..... all getting into the same car and driving around killing everyone we saw .... went to the airport to see if we could get into real planes (you cant

) ended up getting in 3 combat style helicopters and flying around a bit ..... drove boats......ran around killing each other with all sorts of weapons (guns, grenades, RPG's)
All got into the same helicopter .... but then never flew because one of the other guy's blew us all up with an RPG

.
I could see this being a lot of fun for a TGV nite for sure.

Was that in a party room Karl? I went into one briefly last night and had a lot of fun by myself just picking off pedestrians.

in the online there is NO LOBBY, et el CoD etc...you are not looking at a Room with names and such...your basically running around Liberty City in a free for all until the host sets up the game type then you jump into that

You can push left on the D Pad and see the player list etc...

WOW...the online seems equally entertaining in comparison to the story mode, this seems like something I could really get into..........If ya'll see me online I'd be willing to play some online with you guys.

Shriney and I had stole a couple of Helo's then switched to motor boats to tour all of Liberty City.

We decided to take a Boat ride around the complete perimeter, about 15 minutes of this:

Shriney: Where the hell are we anyway?
G: Looks at Map...About halfway around
Shriney: F**K!

Liberty City is freakin Huge

Finally played some multiplayer last night with Emms, Lefty and Steam. We played a few different types of games but I liked Cops and Crooks the best. This is going to be fun.

Has anyone played any multiplayer on the PS3? If so, is it possible to communicate with friends to get them in the same game?

Yes MarkoC, you can send an invite even if they are playing offline. I have only been online once, but it was really fun.

Got online on the PS3 for the first time last night. Haze, Andrea and I spent a while in the "lobby" killing each other before we got into a game.

Got to play a few different game types. Team Mafia work and Team Deathmatch were fun. I was a little confused by Cannonball Run mode in GTA race.

It's cool to play team stuff and be able to work together and it's always interesting when Andrea is driving.

I am really getting into the Races. Last night I ran a few on the 360 and this morning I did nothing but race for about an hour and a half on the PS3.

We had one race last night where we just used trucks, that was pretty funny.
