I'd dearly like to see one -  and it doesn't/shouldn't have to include loft variations.

If you have one already built and don't mind sharing would you post it/link it here or provide PM info for dissemination ?

This is going to be more difficult because of the aiming circle. I am going to try and get some distances offline later this week I will see what I get.

I suggest the following for the PS3 07 boost chart. Under game set up, set the difficulty to easy play. That takes away the aiming circle. Next, do what you would normally do to construct a boost chart.

What about the aiming circle? Well...the boost chart could be very helpful in the daily...with all of the punch, draw and fade shots that are used. And for straight normal shots, they should go about the same distance with the true aim circle, even with the random offline shots.

I use the PS2 06 chart (virtually identical to 07 save for a yard long/short here and there) for off the green shots (non-putts). E$... what about you? You use 06/07 PS2 train of thought?

Is easy play available online?

Thanks Sw.

Just taking a quick look at the default distances....they look different than what I have on my screen at home if my memory is 1/2 ok today at work :

HL-----Regular-----93
LW-----Regular-----103
LB-----Regular-----113
SW-----Regular-----123
GW-----Regular-----132
AW-----Regular-----140.5
PW-----Regular-----150
9I-----Regular-----158
8I-----Regular-----166
7I-----Regular-----175
6I-----Regular-----183
5I-----Regular-----190.5
4I-----Regular-----204
3I-----Regular-----212
2I-----Regular-----222
1I-----Regular-----229
7W-----Regular-----247
5W-----Regular-----248.5
3W-----Regular-----260.5

Are these stock distances what they are advertised as on the game ?

The no roll distance is a good one. After learning the hard way, messing up too many approaches, I know the HLW goes 93, but then spins back about 5 - 6 yards. And that a full spin forward will stop that wedge where it hits the green, as well as most others, with a full spin forward.

For no roll distance, did you use the bunkers at Sawgrass? Good work on the chart Irish.

I have used the same hole for my charting since 05:  Interestingly enough it is on today's daily... Sawgrass #6.  Bunkers all along the left side make the ball die immediately and the rough also makes it easy to stop the long shots around 280.

Those are not the stock distances as advertised. They are how far the ball will travel in the air w/ no boost. Kinda dumb I know. For example the HL regular says 90 but actually goes 93 w/ no boost.

In my opinion the best boost chart ever created is this one:

So...who is working on a boost chart for the new very slight pause shot that voids the random aiming circle? I am.

i use the 06 chart and i am missing 1 modifier for power boost and i think the yardages are right on the $, the only difference i've noticed is pitching with the PW, the ball seems to go a bit further, hope this helps

I did this at Sawgrass, wedges from the fairway into bunkers, irons from the tee with irons and woods:

Here is a sample, I'll work on typing something up later. It is all in pencil and subject to refinement. My amount of pause is very little. Just enough to get the ball to hit the same target every time. If it comes up short, I've paused too much. If the ball goes left or right of target, I have not paused enough. Tricky until you get used to it.

Pause Boost Chart w/ full boost on all shots. FLB = Full Loft Back, FLF = Full Loft Forward, M = shaft of iron forward till it meets the center line of shape icon on screen ( about 1/2 loft forward), D = the top dot on the shape screen icon (about 90% Full Loft Back). I have one for irons that is 1/2 loft back. I'll do the same for wedges. Also, 90% loft shots forward are very good as well if you need just a little more distance.

Wedges:

HL - 102, FLB 96, FLF 108, M 107, D 100
LW - 112, FLB 105, FLF 120, M 117, D 110
LB - 124, FLB 114, FLF 132, M 127, D 120
SW - 135, FLB 122, FLF 143, M 140, D 130
GW - 144, FLB 136, FLF 152, M 150, D 141
AW - 153, FLB 146, FLF 156, M 160 D 148
PW - 166, FLB 156, FLF 168, M 172, D 162

I got the idea to use full boost most of the time and work the shape stick from a guy in town who was NO.1 on the XBOX 360. I played The Prince Course yesterday with this strategy and shot a 57 on my second attempt. The clubs in my bag were the following: 8, 3W, 3,5,7,9,PW,AW,GW,SW,LBW,LW,HLW, putter. I wanted to experiment with all of the wedges. The approaches were much closer, the putting killed me that day.

I'll upload the irons and woods sometime today or tomorrow. I'd like your feedback or questions. The coolest thing I have discovered is by looking at the shape stick icon on the screen, you can find all kinds of little dots and lines to always have your club in the same position to hit the yardage.
