My first attempt at vid making. Probably gonna go though it and edit it again to sync the music a little better and add some captions.

White Stripes and the Wu.

Were you speeding up the vid then slowing it down on purpose?  Seemed like the gameplay would be really fast for a couple minutes then slow down for a couple.  That works good when done in a timely manner...i.e. running around looking for someone to kill, speed it up.

Maybe up the brightness a tad in your capture card settings if you can.  Just a little tweak and it should be right on.

Like you said, just your first attempt to get your feet wet so good job man.  I love watchin vids so keep 'em coming.

Wasn't messing with the speed of the frames at all.. Some of the sections in the capture were at those different speeds for some reason. Didn't really realize I put all those slo mo ones together in a string like that. I did like how the frames all turned otu for the white stripes portion of the vid. Had the music timed out to end right as I hit the ground when dude tags me(ending my 7 killer), but it seemed to move a half step sooner somehow... Dunno, just gonna keep tweaking and adjusting as I can

Good work Thruster..........Always nice to see a new vid.......

The speed of the vids is something im not sure why its happening. I looked around a bit on a site I have gone to before  but didnt see anything right off the bat.

As for timing your music........Im not sure what video editing software you are using but you have to take the transition time into effect. You can set it for longer or shorter duration periods.......But I know I have added music before and THEN added transitions and that frigged the whole timing up.....Needless to say I was jacked.....If you really are anal about the timing.......you can also trim clips slightly when you need the vid to be shorter to match the music. I.E. you start a clip by running up steps until you shoot your first person......trim running up the steps and save 2 or 3 seconds......you get the drift.I always add more video than  music time  then pick and choose what goes where  and how much time each clip takes.

Didnt mean to jack your thread with that stuff......Just trying to help.

No prob at all Pinger. The capture speeds have been fixed since I reinstalled the Pinnacle Studio 10.8 patch. I think since I tried to start the studio program once before I d/l the patch it effed up some files(including my DVDR drive). All video I've captured since has turned out normal speed now. I'd like to find how/if you can change the speeds in the editor tho. Synching the music was just really a product of me rushing... was about 4:30a.m. when I finally put the music in and almost got it synched at the end...last snipe shot was just a second off...said **** it...it's done.

The vidcap device I bought came with editing software. It's a Pinnacle Dazzle capture device and the editing software is Pinnacle Studio 10. It needs the Studio 10.8 patch to work with Windows Vista tho

I'm not familiar with that one.  I use Adobe Premiere.  I just put whatever I want to slow down/speed up into it's own little clip then there is a "speed/duration" tool I can use to adjust the timing.
