Beijing 2008 is due out in July sometime (07-08-08 according to Gamestop) on both the 360 and PS3. There will be 30+ events playable online (8 players). It may be a good game to get both consoles involved in a big Olympic type tourney. Heats can be run on each console and top times/points will get the medals.

Probably not a buy, but if there was enough interest, we can rent it and give it a roll. Turbo would have to be banned for the button masher events. Sound remotely interesting?

I remember playing the Sydney games & how much my daughter enjoyed some of it especially the diving events. I can also remember never being able to make some of those track & field events work for us. lol So, yes, Dan it does sound interesting. tyvm

Birthday is on Sunday and I have asked for it. I had ESPN'S International Track and Field and International Winter sports on the PS2 side and loved them.  I can see myself getting hooked on this game if it's any good.

Do you have it Dan?

Sweet...thx for the feedback Andy.  I'll be on it hopefully next week.  Loved the Konami T & F back in the day, as well as the stand up Arcade game Gold Medallist.

I have been trying to rent it. Not too popular apparently, Gamefly and Blockbuster have limited copies. I will find it eventually and hope some people can get together for some online.
