Does any1 else think there's way 2 many greens you can drive.. Played Riviera front with MX yesterday and theres 3 greens you can now drive that you could not in others years.Game plays great but imo the driver is out of hand of we really need a tiger tee update

Doesn't it make it all about the putting though, kind of as it should be ? <serious question - I have no clue>

Those holes in the past were probably always halved - is it still the case or are you putting from 20-50 feet away ?

You shouldn't be able to drive almost every par 4....that alone will probably keep me from getting the game

There are waaaaaay to many greens you can drive that years past......disappointing to me. You shouldnt be able to swing 86% and drive the ball 360 yards.

Agreed, my only grip, THE GAME IS GREAT except for the distances of these Steroid clubs.

Maybe if we ever start doing tournies we can make everyone back off to 85% ON THE CLUB TUNER??? just a thought.

Tour mode is a lot easier than last year and is what I will be playing in my league. Turbo controller + expert driver= unrealistic. It is not the turbo that is bad, it is the ability to hit it straight with such a small sweet spot because of the controllers lack of swing sensitivity that ruins it. It is an arcade players wet dream for sure.

The thing is, we shouldn't have to adjust to 85% or play tour or whatever else just to get in a good game of golf...EA sucks ass period (sorry Rick  )

It's absolutely stupid that they screw the game up by making virtually every par 4 drivable...why couldn't they take the concept of 04 and just build off of that...IMO that was the best mix of real/arcade that there was.

I've played default every year...and only played a little Tour Mode in the daily one year...but would like to learn. Man...Irish would shoot some real low scores in the daily on tour mode Thursday.

Regarding distance control on approach shots:

How do you control distance without tapping? Do you actually practice 75-80-85-90-95 percent swings with the analog stick?

My guess is that course management also plays a part. Hitting a long drive and leaving the ball at a huge yardage gap between a sand and lob wedge would be bad...I figure. Perhaps tour players sometimes tee up with a 3 or 5 wood so they can use a full swing on approach...adjusting only the loft for increased accuracy.

If you say putting is easy it must be easy.  Most of us have seen your putting in previous versions.

Lets just say as well that Bay Hill isn't the only course where a Par 5 is Drivable.  Theres alot more out there...Wolf Creek I think there is 2 and I really haven't run any other courses yet, but I can only imagine.

Pretty sad that on Tour, you can Drive 6 greens with helpfull wind (Carnoustie yesterday).  Game is solid, but I agree on the steroid drives for this years version.  Even though last years game was alot tougher...I think I enjoyed the challenge where holeouts and driving greens was very rare.

Its not just the driver, either.  I tuned my wedges so that I can flop 83 yards and my HL shows 130.... There isn't a par 5 in the game that I would be hitting a 7 iron to wedge into the green (barring strong wind comin at ya).

I hate driveable par 4's. Especially those that aren't actually driveable in real life.

I wish I could add something here but my CAG is still rollin 5s   I have't tuned a club or even changed my gameface.  I played a few challanges and spent all my time playing online games with my boys.  I am loving the game right now.

There is no shame in being a short hitter this year.  I hope this year we can have a night where the driver stays out of the bag.
