Have you tried HSG yet Andy? That's my new Tiger for the forseeable future, EA could learn a few things from them in how to produce a quality game.

Looks like they are learning as they (EA) are going to give simultaneous play a shot in 09.

It will take some rave reviews for a month or so before I'll donate my $60 to EA....figure if after a month people are still playing it then it might be worth checking out, but my guess is that it will fizz like the rest of them have and only the die hards will still convince themselves that a crappy game is actually good. I tried doing that for a while for 07 and 08 and 06 for that matter, but seeing games like RFoM and HSG that run flawless servers has convinced me to take the blinders off....

I have tried it Tdawg, and in my opinion, its no Tiger. Its cool but I really enjoy playing Tiger in TOUR mode MUCH better.

I would agree with you if Tiger did not offer TOUR mode. There are just TOO many bells and whistles on HSG, I am looking for more of a true sim. For me Tiger 2008 has been the smoothest running TIGER ever, now I do admit in default it could be a little frustrating with the spin loss but in TOUR, spin does not matter, full boost does not matter so the issues that drove everyone here away ( loss of spin and loss of boost ) is not an issue for me and those that I play with. It is truly the funnest, most competitive mode of palying golf in video game form, IMHO.
