1st and foremost, set your PGA tourneys up as 1 day events, not 4.

I'm no expert at how to do this the fastest way. I did the first 9 squares, or blocks or whatever, within the Tiger challenge. Then I beat two golfers within the challenge, and switched to PGA events. Seems to be working out alright.

Any tips or suggestions on the best way to do this, are welcome...

Once you get to around an 9 average...if you miss a fairway or two, you're screwed. I keep losing skill points that I had just won. I'm going to try and do it via beating the pros in Challenge mode...

Thought...

turn off auto save. manually save before every attemp to increase points. If you lose points...quit withput aving, and try something else.

Here's my tip:
I got someone else's gamesave file with the game at 65% completion and the CAG almost maxx'd
When I get home from work today I'll upload my gamesave and post a little tutorial on how everyone can d/l it and replace your cag with an almost maxx'd one

Remebered I have WiFi at work

Ok here we go:

Easiest way to do this is...
1. Make sure you have a Tiger 09 file saved already under "Game Save Data" in your XMB. If not, go through the beginning stages of the game where u make a cag, and do Hank Haney's little evaluation thing.

2. Back up your Game Save Data to a usb drive. There should be 2 files. One is for game settings and the other is your profile..

3. Take your usb drvie to your PC now. Go into the PS3 folder, double click on SAVEDATA. Now there's a folder named BLUS30159USER01, double click on that. Inside it there should be 4 files. You'll want to delete those 4 files and replace them with mine. You can make a backup of your original folder if you want to by right clicking on the BLUS30159USER01 folder and making a copy of it and pasting it on your desktop.

4. Download the 4 files from me and put them in your BLUS30159USER01 folder. http://hosted.filefront.com/TGVMaxThrust

5. Take your usb drive to your PS3 and go to Game Save Data again(above trophies in the GAME section of XMB). Click x on the usb drive, press triangle on the 2 tiger files and copy them to PS3. It'll ask you if you want to overwrite the existing ones, say yes.

6. Take your guy to the gameface and make him yours, finish him off and enjoy

**********
Oh yeah... the files names you want from me are:
GAMEDATA.DAT
ICON0
PARAM.PFD
PARAM.SFO

From what I can tell once you have the right FIR,GIR and putt % ave. your good. Online wont change your stats if you have a bad round but if your playing offline and lower your ave. in any of those skills you will drop played a bunch of games online and stats never change that I noticed. Online as of now seems the same as allways hit and miss connects both me and mx and me and criv could not connect at first then worked on second or third tryNot a bit of lag just the swing is slower online the off but if I remember its been like that 4 awhile and is not a factor...Gameplay seems very easy on any setting unless im not gettin the fast greens im postin the match as.Overall I give it a 8 and thats way better then years b4

Valid question though. I am probably much farther along than that character. We need a maxed dude...

Especially this year. Can't believe that I won't be able to play offline with friends, without screwing up mu guys #'s. Attributes going back down is crap, IMO.

Has anyone used this profile? How complete is it?

Make another personna to play offline and one to play online. If they are seperate then the problem is solved. If they are tied to your PSN name uh oh!

Agreed. Though maxing a golfer in teh first place seems impossible. Weak!
