No, but I really don't see the point.  Internet works, I am online when I log in.  Need for Speed works online.  This tells me there is no connectivity issue.  Of course it could still be a port blockage or something specific to TW, but the problem with that is nothing has changed.  I have a static IP for my console that is in the DMZ, so should have no port issues.  As of now, I think it is one of two things.
  1. There is something amiss with my username on EA's side.  I honestly believe this is the case.  The error I get is indicating I am not logged in to EA servers, although I am to Sony's.  My PS3 account is the same name as one of my personas on PS2, but not the same as the master PS2 account.
  2. Possibly some kind of DNS or other network issue with my ISP.  I highly doubt this as I have had zero issues in this area.

I might try the direct connection tonight just for piece of mind.

The point is totally one of troubleshooting and process of elimination.

If it still doesn't work you can say that the DMZ/Firewall/Router/NAT/PAT is 100 percent AOK for TW2007.

If it does work you can say that there is a problem with one of the above for TW2007 and start eliminating eliminating that.

It is my personal belief that EA Sports games has problems with NAT and peer to peer gaming on consoles.  There are countless threads on the subject for MANY games on PS2 and I see them now on the PS3.  The "problem" is that the problem isn't for everyone on every game, it's a percentage of users and as such you are getting the form letter because they don't have a clue as to what the problem is.

I agree Hoo ... I will do it tonight.  I honestly hope I am wrong, because my end will be much easier to fix than something on EA's side.

Could it even be the copy of the game itself ??? I know that there isnt a DNAS security check anymore for the PS3 ... but couldnt it be bad or missing code on the disk itself ???

I got some slightly encouraging news

Hello,

Thank you for following up regarding your inability to connect online with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 for your PS3 gaming console.  At this time, our online engineering team is doing a series of tests regarding various subnets, netmasks, and the IP addresses assigned to them.  Currently, we are aware of this issue and we are further researching this issue with other ISP's.  We are trying to determine if certain ISP subnets are preventing your connection from reaching our servers.  I apologize for any inconveniences this has caused.  However, once I have more information available to me I will update you regarding your issue.  It is my hope that we have answers some time this week.  In the meantime, please ask your ISP to issue you a new subnet and see if this helps you connect online.  Please let me know the outcome.  Again, I apologize for any inconveniences.

Thank you for contacting EASPORTS Customer Support!

Here is the latest from EA, at least they haven't given up yet.  I still haven't tried the direct connection  I am going to try and do it tonight...

Hello,

Thank you for following up regarding your inability to connect to the EA servers with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 for your PS3 gaming console.  Currently, you stated you are on a wireless connection.  Is it possible to hook up your PS3 directly to your modem or router through an ethernet cable?  Please let me know the outcome.  In the meantime, we have escalated your issue with our online engineering team.  We are trying to see if there are any discrepancies with your network with our servers.  I do apologize for any inconveniences.

We do not do this often: however, I would like to issue you a $20 off coupon code redeemable for our web store at www.eastore.ea.com to thank you for your patience and understanding.  You have been very patient and helpful while we have been researching your issue.  This is my appreciation to you.

Your $20 off coupon code is:  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It is my hope that by connecting directly to your modem will eradicate the problem  However, please let me know the outcome.

Thank you for contacting EASPORTS Customer Support!

Yeah, so I can spend even more money on another of their shoddy games

I have to admit that their customer service has been much better than expected for this ticket.  Either I just got lucky, or maybe EA is trying to get back focused on the customer

Damon, did you ever get an answer to this problem?   The reason I'm asking, I have the same exact problem  I have been banging my head against the wall, I have triple & quadruple checked everything, I can go online just fine except it won't log into the EA servers.
