....ok, how does this sound? After each week...each player looks at the 3 players above him (/her) and below him in the overall standings, which are updated each week. Those six players (or less if you are toward the top or bottom of the standings) will be your potential "loss report group" for that next week. If anyone of those 6 players posts a LOWER score than your own for THAT week---then you report a loss to each of those lower scoring players from that group of 6 (or less). For example: After week 1 >>> Irish, Brody, SW, Jump, Ping, and Musik would be my "loss report group" for WEEK 2. So if in WEEK 2, Brody, Ping and Musik post a LOWER score than my score, I report losses to them (as well as whomever I may have lost to playing my matches or we could exclude an additional loss report if this person is already in your group so you don't have to report double losses to the same person in the same week) If I am Irish---then my "loss report group" after week 1 will be Brody, SW, Dendo (since there is noone above him in the standings----also count those players who may be tied with your own score) So as a reward for being high in the standings--in this case you may have a smaller potential group to report losses for in that next week. note: I guess if there are many ties in your potential "loss report group" then the number of persons MAY exceed 6. Likewise, if you are toward the bottom of the standings, where there may be less than 3 palyers below you in the standings---then you will also BENEFIT from having a smaller pool to potentially have to report losses to in the next week. How does this sound (hopefully not too complicated.
