Is there a way to select or an option for names or numbers under or around the highlighted player?

So you want the players named displayed right where he is on the field..?

It does tell you at the bottom of your screen..

Does anyone know what the green bars next to the players "overall skill number" mean...is this how in shape they are? Their morale? It can't be morale though...the meters get smaller and turn other colors in the middle of the game. What is this for or does it tell you? They are just out of shape and not any good after halftime?

Thanks for the 4-1-1 in advance...

I believe I read in the loading tips last night that it's the player's energy in the game and also his character/style, or something like that...

Cool...thanks for the info push there...I cheked the tips & hints and nothing addresses that meter...they have the wing on the shoes icon, bullseye icon, etc for character styles so it must just be energy as that wears down quickly...I have a captain on Millwall that is retiring next year at age 25 and must have something wrong with him as his meter drops really quick in games...

thats during the game...right? I am talking about the bars that are either red or green when you go into the manage squad menu. I think yellow might be an option too. When you pause it, there are meters next to the players there...we can discuss in a bit online...

Just a side note: I won a little offline tourney thing. I changed my "formation" to a 4-2-4, I am not sure the difference but I noticed that it did open up a lot more scoring chances for me. I figured since I didn't play a lot of neurtal zone futbol why worry about people being there Don't know if Mark or Hop would still be struggling like myself to score but this seemed to help. Just thought I would throw it out there.

I plan on working on the pros and cons of these "formations"

Has anybody been able to effectively curve the ball with the left paddle from time of circle button to actual foot on ball on action?  It seems like its more due to angle of attack, if you will...just wondering...

The goalie doesn't always come out of the box, unless you make him make the first move....most of the time, I'll catch the attacker offguard by bringing the goalie all the way out to the top of the penalty box anyway before the player can get a shot off....

In my opinion, it does take some skill to get the power meter right - if I could say I've made 99% of my lob shots from any position I'd be lying...

...and I have to say that Cantona's lob shot in the FIFA 06 highlights has to be one of the best goals I've ever seen...

Seeking some tips for the WC version...

What camera angle do most of you guys use?  Action is default but I'm trying to find something a little better to see the field more especially on attacks.  Widescreen is good for that but the players look like ants almost.

Also, is there a way to take over my goal keeper so he can run out of the box and stop sitting back on everything?  Haven't figured out how to pick the ball back up as a goalie when you put it on the ground either.

Are there any advantages to certain control types (currently using classic digital dribble) or is it just whatever your comfortable with?

And finally, is there some key to hitting a power shot low?  No matter what I press when I use more than 3/4 power it goes sailing into the 20th row.

Thank you in advance.
