How do you control the goalie during PKs on World Cup 06. I see how to jump, squat, crazy legs and wave arms. The only thing my goalie seems to do is either roll on the ground or just stand there.

once i see the kicker's meter start to fill up i just push the left stick in one of the 3 directions (middle, left or right).

Just another tip for the newer players on the pitch....during kickoff, before you kickoff or wait for your opponent to, check your team's mentality with the select button. If your mentality is the yellow arrow, your team will play aggressively up the pitch, and your opponent will have a better chance on a counter-attack to get a through ball to an attacker behind your defenders. If your team mentality is the white arrow, your team will play defensive-minded, and your defenders are less likely to let an attacker get behind them. If your mentality is no arrow (just a black circle), that is a neutral mentality. The neutral mentality is usually the best one to use. If you are behind and need to be aggressive, or are ahead and want to play defensive, adjust your team's mentality accordingly.

Is there anyway to bring more guys into the box for a corner?  Playing Bendz, the Dutch only had like 4 guys in the box.

manually. click the switch man button and manually move them where you want them. however on offense and defense usually after you move them , once the ball is kicked ,they move right back where they were. try the select button and use the down arrow, that may help as well. plus, on defense there is usually one guy (cf, i think) that once you control him you stay in control of him when the ball is in the air.

phew!, hope that helps

also E$ - be careful when you take control of one of your players in the box..if you move him out of position too far, it will open up an opportunity to cross the ball to the defender that you just left alone...

defending corners is a matter of making sure you have a man on each guy - it would be strange to see only 4 guys in the box on defense, because each guy should have a marker...just be sure that, whoever you decide to take control of, you don't leave your man open for a header or deflection...hope that helps...

I meant when I was taking the corner...not playing defense.  Should have been more specific fellas.

ok - in that case, who you have in the box is who you have in the box.....try to pay attention to your players' positions in the box, and power your corner accordingly....that's really the only advice I can give you, because you can't control any of the players besides the one who is taking the kick....just takes practice my brotha...

Ya, thanks.  I got the power thing down, I just thought it was strange they only had 4 guys up there, usually more from previous experience.  Kinda hard to squeak one by when there's almost 2 defenders per player.

you can put more guys in the box while taking a corner kick by using the box overload play and the offensive mentality ..
