I am just mentioning this, because there is.

On certain holes, usually tee boxes, but sometimes in the rough as well...  there is something similar to a lag issue going on.  It prevents me from getting more than 2 or 3 taps with turbo going all out.

I know that it's not just me, but that most of you have not experienced the same thing.  I can tell you that no matter how many times, ot whether you are online, or offline, it will STILL not turbo due to some sort of lag.

That makes me feel like trying to get an exchange, or rent it, check that copy, and then switch with it if it's working OK.

Theres a few corners EA needs to turn yet.

Hole 16 on Firestone off the Tee.

No matter what camera angle I chose, the best I could get was a bout 1/2 red ball.

Curious  if all you folks  having this problem are  using the adapter and Intec?  I havent had time to play all the courses on the daily yet  but the ones I have  I dont remember  having any  redball issues.  I did  play PB a few times  last week.

I have zero boost troubles, and have played all courses many times.
I use a Intec controler and the Radio Shack PS2 controller to USB adapter.

To be clear.

You played the daily yesterday and from the default view were able to get full boost on 16 everytime or you had to change the view somehow to get FB ?

Forgot to add  im using Sixaxis.........I guess I was saying I havent had any trouble as of yet.  Was wondering if it was the turbo controller causing the issue.

I have an adapter  sitting new in the package from Radio Shack..........bought it right after i got the PS3   just so I had one if I ever needed to use it. At this point I dont think I will need it.........Always liked tapping and this version  allows me to do it.

Wrong thread  but  I just found out I can power up the PS3  just by pushing the PS button........didnt even have to get off the couch......

To be clear...

I always get full boost on every hole on every course from any view.

Really.

I get boost glitches on at least 1 hole per 18 on/offline that I cannot do anything about no matter what with the Radio Shack/Intec Combo.  (Will try the Sixxaxis tonight).

As far as 16 at Firestone yesterday, I only played that hole once yesterday, but I don't remember any boost loss on any hole.
Of course I have no idea what 16 looks like or what I shot off the tee with out looking directly at the hole.
*edit*
Ok, looking at the daily post, 16 is the par 5 I posted my m.o. for reaching.

I use a full boost draw 8 degree, then a full boosted, full lofted, full draw 3 iron into the green.
Neither had any boost glitch problems
Off the tee I use the normal view giving.
In fairways, ichange views numerous times to get best view of lies, then swing from normal view.

i have noticed since i switched to not drawing or fading the ball on every hole i do not get a boost glitch. i think that #16 at Firestone was the only hole that i hit the draw and it worked fine the 3x i played the daily. On other dailys i did notice a couple of times when i either hit a draw or a lofted punch off the tee that i would not get full boost and it actually seemed that the ball travelled a shorter distance than a reg. shot.

#3 at Pebble and another hole on the back as well...

I just tried it with the six-axis with the same results.  No way will I ever be able to tap or turbo Full Boost on those holes.

Throw in #16 from yesterday, and a few locations from the rough, and I know I don't stand a chance to actually win with my copy.

I'll get another copy, and another copy, until I get one that will work like it should.  btw, it also is the same on both my PS3's as well.

There is really no other avenue to search for me, and I believe with 100% certainty, that there are flawed copies.  No question mark 4 me.

OK I am not being a SA here but try and hold the club in the back position for a half second longer. I am not saying that is it but I know I have had more lost turbo shots in this match than any of the others put together. I thought I was getting the club all the way back but evidently I wasnt and I lost all the boost(not really the glitch because you dont see any color on the ball). I havent had the problem since I switched to Tigers swing. Just a thought!

I've also tried the waggle at the top while tapping back there and nothing.  Appreciate it.

I'm going to pick up a second copy today and settle it hopefully.  I bought the first copy on the road somewhere.

There is a definite glitch when it happens compared to other holes.  The ball simply will not fill up red at all and it seems to do so in another time/space dimension - it's weird.

In other words I agree with Z.

I will be kinda angry if this is DISC related as I am not buying another copy.

Is your company buying all this stuff for you Z ?
