...I guess you can have either a woman, or everything else that you want.  For now I'm sticking with everything else.

And this issue really ticks me off, I want to get to the bottom of it.

So you guys arent getting  a full red.

I was thinking you were getting full red, but not the full distance.

Weird that the red ball doesnt fill up, I've only seen that with sub par turbo controllers, well that and when I tap

If it helps, I also use Tigers swing.

I gambled, and I lost.  The new copy does exactly the same thing.  4 or 5 taps MAX.

We can't learn much from it either.  The only way would be to have a copy that you know works, and try it on a system where it hasn't been working.

I even deleted all my old info off the HDD, booted up with the new disk and same junk.  I may even put down TW, because this is completely unfair.

I've never had an issue on #3 at Pebble, and I have played a lot of rounds there.   Now as far as crazy, you should have saw Hoowaas 180 there last night.

I use the Sixaxis and have had zero boosting up issues at all.  Of course I can't hit a full red ball either, but I can get 7 taps half the time and 6 the other half.  But I have yet to come across any boost "limit".

I don't see where it says you aren't getting full boost - according to the ball meter.  If you are not please clarify.  If you are getting a full red ball and not getting the distance this is most likely just the boost glitch.  I've never had a problem with Pebble #3.  I did have a problem the one and only time I played Firestone yesterday.  I can't remember the hole but it took me 4 shots to get on because every shot I hit I got the boost glitch on.  At first I thought maybe I short swung my drive but I made sure to full swing the other 3 tries to get to the green.    Definitely something up with that but I don't know if it will do it everytime since I only played it once.   I guess I'll get back to ya the next time I play Firestone.

Every version on the PS2 has holes that give you the boost glitch, offline, I guess they did another bang up job in the programming dept. and now it's carrying over to online play.

I'd be more than happy to try it out but living in Canada, I'm your most expensive shipping option.   If you don't have any other takers hit me up.

On some holes I cannot get a full red ball regardless of how I move my camera around and this results in a less than full boost shot.  The ball simply fills up with red very very very slowly and never never never gets to full rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrredddddddddddddd.  Fricking annoying.  Firestone 16 off the tee last night was a prime example, once on the fairway I was free to hit my 3W FL/FB and try and hit the green over the water.

Well that sounds like an entirely new glitch to me, other than that I have nooo clue.

Excellent work EA.

I thought everyone was experencing it last on Firestone.

Kinda ghey that it's only some people.

Be interesting to see two people (one that has the glitch and another that does not) go head to head there and see if the glitch stays.

I was getting one on Firestone I just don't remember the hole, or, if I was getting full boost or not.  I just remember it took me 4 shots to get to the green and felt like an old boost glitch from every other version.

I was in the same situation at 16 everytime.   The odds drop dramatically on an eagle, coming in with a 3W or 5W.

It also does NOT matter if you are online, or offline, the glitch IS ALWAYS there.

Lets look for a US resident first, but I'll send it anywhere we can learn something.

im a lil confused as to how the camera angle would help getting full boost.  but as for the boost giltch with a full red and the ball petering out, try swinging slower. sounds stupid but fixed my problem.  if swung forward to fast i got it everytime, but if i swang slow no problems.   found this in the daily when my 3I was only going 100 yards with a full swing boost or not. could be that some of you swing faster, as i know i do unintentionally, when shaping the ball.

Pebble 3 is the quickest hole to find out on, Firestone 16 would be just a bonus.  If you're saying you have no problem getting a FULL red ball on #3 Pebble, then I'd be happy to send you this copy of the game to test out the theory.  If you could use my copy, and without issues at #3, I would then be forced to look at other possibilities.

I just tested Pebble #3 and Firestone #16 here.

It easily reaches full boost on both holes every time i tried(I mulliganed at least ten times each set up)about 3/4 of the way up on the back swing.
I used both Tigers swing and pops slow swing and it worked finewith both.

I get about 382 on pebble and 399 at Firestone.
The approach 3I worked everytime as well.

HOOWAA, let me ask you to try this at Pebble...

Aim off to the right of those blue towers and tell me if you can turbo in that direction...?!?!   I can.
Not that it helps cause you can only turbo it out of bounds pointed that way.

Soon as I begin to aim the direction I need to, the turbo goes into lag mode.

Same thing if you try around the left of the trees.  I hate EA.  A lot.

Both disks work the same, and with Tiger, Tigers swing, a brand new CAG, or any other golf person who makes it to the tee.
