If this game ends up being half as much fun as the "other" console version this will be the next RFOM for the PS3 group.
Gameplay is great for both the Story mode (has both single player and co-op for up to 4 players) for other co-op modes like Terrorist hunt, and mostly for the numerous multiplayer modes.
It allows for up to 16 players.

Aside from RFOM its one of the best FPS I have ever played..... UBISOFT has the controls working really well.
Comes out for the PS3 on 3/20 .... [&o] [8D]

June 5, 2007 - It's been a long time coming, but Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas is finally locked and loaded for release on the PlayStation 3. We saw the PS3 version for the first time a few weeks back at Sony's Gamer's Day and now have a final copy in our hands. Yes indeed, Ubisoft's tactical shooter is finally ready to go and we've been able to play through the opening segments of the game to see how it stands up.

Obviously, Rainbow Six: Vegas on the PlayStation 3 is mostly identical to what we saw on the Xbox 360 late last year. The bulk of the game has remained the same, though Ubisoft has taken the extra development time to add in a handful of new content and features. Some of those things are related to the online play which we unfortunately can't talk about just yet (soon though), but there are a few new elements to the singleplayer and co-op modes.

Rainbow 6 Vegas Multiplayer hands on ! !

Judging by its critical and commercial success on the Xbox 360, Rainbow Six Vegas is a game that the PS3 sorely needs. So it's good that the PS3 is getting its own version of Vegas next week. An intense tactical shooter, Rainbow Six Vegas puts you in the boots of an elite, NATO counterterrorist commando out to save the world. And by world, we mean Las Vegas--but then again, if Vegas blew up, lots of people would be sad. We've already previewed the single-player portion of the game, and recently we had a chance to check out its multiplayer action. And as any Xbox 360 Vegas player will tell you, the multiplayer is where it's at. The PS3 version will actually feature more multiplayer content than the Xbox 360 game. Not only does it have all the original maps seen in the Xbox 360 version as well as the maps that were sold as part of the Player's Pack Red Edition, it also has five exclusive maps. So we battled Ubisoft to get an early taste of the action. [8D]

ER1CKSON -> RE: R6 Vegas (6/22/2007 7:48:17 PM)

Nice of them to put all those maps in there at no charge since we had to wait so long.[:(] [8D]

jumpputt -> RE: R6 Vegas (6/26/2007 2:31:02 PM)

FM6CT -> RE: R6 Vegas (6/26/2007 2:34:20 PM)

If there is enough interest I will buy the PS3 version ..... no sence getting it if no one else is though I already have it for that other console [&o]

IIICASHIII -> RE: R6 Vegas (6/26/2007 2:47:05 PM)

ER1CKSON -> RE: R6 Vegas (6/26/2007 2:49:41 PM)

Someone on the resistance forums said it was delayed again?  I haven't been able to find anything tho and you know how that site is.  [:(]

I plan on hearing some feedback first as I wasn't blown away with the few video's I've watched.
