Status: offline 		Mine is preordered.  I'm buying it specifically for the offline - online is mearly a bonus.

Supposedly, it's getting 10's from all the big reviewers.... t-minus 1 week!

Status: offline 		Pre ordered here as well for the offline...I had never played any of the GTA series until recently, and I was in Gamestop and found a boxed set that contained GTAIII, Vice City, and San Andreas for $27....I bought it and have since played and beaten all 3 games...I loved it, and that was on the PS2, the next gen version should be incredible.

I probably won't get it until a week or so after release because my local Gamestop is an hour and a half drive from here, but I have put enough down on it that they have assured me they will hold as long as I need.

Status: offline 		The only one I played was Vice City (III?)... but I played it A LOT.  This is one of the few games Erica enjoys watching as well.  I remember that I was playing it when we first started dating and she would say to me, "Are WE going to play the game tonight?"  WE meant that she only watched me play - but she enjoyed it a lot

Status: offline 		III is a totally different game then Vice City, and IMO Vice City was hands down inferior to San Andreas, so if you like Vice City you're going to probably poo your pants over IV

Status: offline 		Jay, if you liked III, you will probably love the next gen version...Vice City was a lot better then III, and San Andreas was so far superior to either of those that with the natural progression even if this was a PS2 title it would probably be good, the fact that it's a next gen version should make it nothing short of amazing.

I played GTA III and Vice City. San Andreas was a awesome game. If anything it was too big, I didn't come close to finishing it.

I don't play too much offline anymore but I am still definitely getting this game.
