No.

I bought this game, the box could have carried a 400 page manual.  The only sheet of paper was for pairing the headset with the PS3.

Not a single word about gameplay/controller butttons nothing.

Capital R.  RE-tarded.

Push down R3...

K.
Did you look inside the disc case for the manual?

Don't feel too bad.  I was also pissed not to find an manual in the box.  But, it only took me about 1 min. to think to look in the OBVIOUS place for it

Ya but did you make a federal case about how "RE-Tarded" it would be not to have a manual with a game.

<--- What a dork.

I've got a great idea for a secondary game on Warhawk.

There's a couple awesome maps that would be perfect to run flight races on.  No combat fighting...

Just a race in the birds.  Design a route through the canyons and we'll race to the first hole in the rocks.

My ideas really suck lately though, sooo...  maybe, maybe not, so great an idea.   ...........z

Well there wasn't a manual in the case.  There were 2 manuals in the case,  English....and....French.

<--- Need some sleep, getting punchy these days.

Update from Dylan Jobe, Warhawk developer:

First off -- I want to let all of you know that, contrary to some of the posts here...the team was not sailing around, enjoying the labor day holiday while you all played and earned medals that were ultimately never awarded to you :-)

We have been pretty quiet recently as we look to determine the root cause of some of the issues that some players are currently experiencing. Some items we have fixes for, some we are still working on -- probably not the exact response that you wanted to hear, but its at least a status update.

The three main issues that we are tracking are:
  • Stats and Ranking errors, delayed posting, missing stats.
  • "Connection Failed" or otherwise messed-up join game errors.
  • Network Drops/Disconnects (we have a fix for these and should be deployed in the next service window)

Our team here at Incognito along with our great support team in San Diego were, and continue to be, diligently working on these issues. I want to reassure everyone that while we *have* been quiet these last few days, it is NOT a sign that we are off on some tropical island somewhere...we are hard at work on the big issues.

I'm not going to spin it and say "oh....we just had soooo many players.....so successful...blah, blah, blah."

That's a bulls&*#$t PR answer. The fact of the matter is that, there were some unforeseen issues that occurred once we went live...plain and simple. From here on out, look for far more frequent updates from us...even if its bad news.

Lastly, while I appreciate everyone's excitement and feedback. I beg of you please don't call my office :-)

My phone number was posted here and in a few other places and while I have had really good conversations with some of you, the team and I need to focus all of our attention on getting you great service...not going though 300 voicemails a day - I do hope you can understand.

I'll post update here as they become available.

And -- Yes this is Dylan from Incognito...I'm not sure why I'm showing up as "Junior"!!! I need to talk to somebody about that :-)

If I remember correctly from the beta, there are flags in each zone.  You have to go stand beside the flag and a bar will fill up the color of your team.  Once full, the flag changes to your teams color and you have control of that zone.

I could be way off but that's what I remember.

EA doesn't care about "customer support"

Stand by the flag pole until it turns your color.
Keep in mind, there are 3 stages of your color.
Your looking to string together zones and overlap them to score bonus points.
If an enemy takes out your middle zone, it ruins the bonus points on the "string".
You can't get a stage 3 on your zone, until you string to that zone from your base.
Base is utterly important, use land mines, up to 4 at a time, and gaurd it well.

As a lone player on many teams already, I find different useful tactics on each map.
The one with the bridges and high mountain sides... snipe the bridge zones from the mountains.
Also, take a rocket launcher from base, and have it ready for a passing tank or plane that spots you.

The team games on Warhawk are the best I've ever seen.
Flags take time to return, not a touch...  very thoughtful.
There's a weapon for every situation.

...and that suicide option...?
That's in case you need to spawn across the map at another location quick.  Suicide...
And 5 seconds later you can be on top of the action, or flag, or whatever...
This game kicks you know what.  Have fun Bendz...
