Tayty get off the ledge and get in here would ya

So MS under estimated some usages and two or three games suffer for a week.  They are the same company that has been giving us flawless online play for over a year. Just don't get so excited it will work out

well Jay,It wouldnt bother that bad exept for the fact that it is 2 weeks now and the first week was dureing my Vacation time which i play video games online the whole week after Christmas.I,m to the point that I,m just tired of it.I have been thinking it was my new router but thats a joke because i can play every other game online that i have without a flaw.It just happens to be the best online game exept for gears that is f&@ked up now.I aint leaving circle jerk land, just playing COD4 on a game that it will play online in.

Posted: 07 Jan 2008 21:40    Post subject: Back @ Studio: Updates on the way.

Hey Everyone --

As you know everyone is back at the studio in force as of today and the day has been full of discussion regarding the PS3 version. This isn't an update thread, but a heads up to an update coming. I'm going to have an update for you in the near future (probably tomorrow) regarding the server issues you may have experienced over the holiday break while attempting to play online in Call of Duty 4 PS3; this update should give you all the background information on the issue and some fixes that should be going into effect.

Essentially, today we're getting everything in order for this, so that I can update you tomorrow and keep you dialed in to exactly what's happened, happening, and coming.

Let me know if you have any questions, now that we're all back in the studio keeping on top of this and most importantly steady responses back to all of you will be greatly improved.

Mx, haze, and I we're the only peeps on.  Had no trouble getting into games.

Though getting into them together is sometimes an issue.

A fix sounds nice.  The game is #1 IMO.  The closest to real war you'll find.

You getting kicked from the party when we tried connecting to games most likely was on my end. I'm still using that POS Microsoft router so my gut instinct would be that my router couldn't handle more than 2 ppl in my party .
I got back on again later last night and started messing around with that spot I showed you guys on Ambush. I made it up on the highest wall of that building and was able to jump over the street to another where you could get to even higher ground with a tree covering you on one side. I'll have to vid it and share. Had a few people cursing my name for sniping from up there last night

It's not you Mx... everyone gets kicked from the party when a host ends the game (PS3 problem).

I believe the problem is neither stated above.
Rather, I believe whoever was hosting the "actual" game, has connect issues with me.

I get a message, unable to connect to host...
I assume since I'm already in a party w/ you, it's not on your end.
Only that, you we're able to connect with that host, but I wasn't.

Like Royd and MO can't even get in a party together,
but they we're both able to connect w/ me at one time.  Been a while....
If we get a good party going, and we know we're the host, we'll be good to go.

I'd like to see 6 of us on at once, get a in a party "at once" and THEN search...
I know it's tuesday, but I'll send out invites to anyone I see at 9pm eastern tonight.
Make sure I'm your buddy if you want one.

Or like suggested last night, with only 3 of us, team tactical may be perfect.  3 max per team.
Regardless of the host, maybe keeping within the party and team prevents the boot...?
...I said maybe.
