Just finally finished the campain mode. Pretty cool story, the airplane in-flight rescue at the end was pretty intense

That was my favorite part too.Arcade mode is fun to play also.

At least you were able to play a few games, was on a couple hours and prolly finished 3 games with Bendz, Z and Him.   Error, host ended the game, game lobby closed, connection interrupted...you name it, we got it.

The only difference I see in the game now vs. say... 3 weeks ago, is the games come much, much faster.

Same "party" issues since inception, just somedays better than others.

Looks like they've done it. I just played a FFA and it took 25 kills to win. Didn't see how to mute anyone tho

I played the campaign mode yesterday as well....started on recruit level, the easiest, and it was pretty easy, finished the whole thing in about 6 hours

Started on regular mode now and I'd guess I'm over halfway through....not as long as I'd like, but pretty sweet storyline

Has anybody found any of the intel....figure since I can't play online I might as well try to finish every level and find all the intel.

I played for a little over an hour and I,m 140 points away from level 7.Now if i can just get to 23 so i can unlock the martyrdom I,ll be a happy camper. The online play on the PS3 seems to be pretty smooth.I havent used my mic yet so I cant say wether or not its OK but as for the gameplay i have only had 1 or 2 lags and they were very short.I guess i played about 8 games.

Thanks to all of the internet gurus on this sight...I have learned much. When I want a 99% glitch free COD4 experience...I play late at night with the 360 plugged (hard wired) straight into the modem...completely bypassing the router. I do free up ports when playing with a router. Still working on getting the 360 to accept a static IP so I can set up a DMZ. I was able to do it on the PS3.

The "host quit" issue still happens because both consoles are still waiting for the "host migration" patch. I understand the patch has been finished a second time and sent to MS for certification. I hope it passes soon.

On the bright side...I'm very excited about the new maps that are in development. There will be more variety...i.e., larger maps. Sniper heaven.

I'm pretty sure when I picked up MGS4 yesterday, I saw a new version of COD4 too.

Game of the Year edition, that includes the 4 new maps.

...couldn't find anything online about a PS3 version though so cannot confirm what I saw.
