Sorry Mole, after JP and Karl went offline we started playing some co-op (4 player max) and didn't see the message.

No problem. What surprised me was that the room was full when you guys were playing Sharpshooter/Casino Vault. Did the room max out? Perhaps we could use yahoo or msn while in-game when someone hosts a TGV RB6 night until the XMB has more communication features.

Co-op: Is that where you both play the story line together?

----------

Online success! No lag or connection problems early in the morning. Karl, don't go to work early in the morning.   Perhaps the server(s) are overloaded at night.

Strange. When I tried to join a sharpshooter match I got the message that no matches could be found.

Survival. I joined a survival match (no spawning or 2nd life) with one other player...which increased to three total. Boring. The other two were playing sniper. Had I not moved around, not a shot would have been fired, so I moved around and got shot, then observed snipers in action.

Create a match. I set up a sharpshooter match and had two other players join. It's a start.

Hey Mole,

Co-Op you can either do the story mode or terroist hunt.  4 players max.

Sometimes you won't find a game when searching, it's happened to me a couple times late at night.  This game is peer-to-peer instead of server based.  This means there's no lobby or server set up matches.  Any match you join is someone that has created a match themselves (like you did with the sharpshooter).

Not server based? That explains a lot! Hmm..peer 2 peer must have a completely different dynamic regarding multiplayer...as in more than two players.

I tried to invite both you and FM to my sharpshooter matches, but no luck yet. I did see an invite from both you and FM. When I clicked on "join", my PS3 locked up.  I had to reboot. I love the game, but the online thing is getting more frustrating. Geez! I checked out the official RB6 site. Those guys are really ticked off. It reminds me of the TGV posts regarding TW06/lag.

Mole game invite update

I had no luck today inviting names on my community list, so I sent a message to Karl to send me a game invite to Casino Vault.  Both Dennis and Karl sent me a game invite to Casino Vault. When I clicked on "JOIN", I got the same message from both: An error has occured. (8002A71A).

Man...getting in matches is hard work. I'd love to work my way up the ranking system because there are so many items to unlock. I get 300 points for winning a match I set up and 100 experience points if I don't win. It takes a lot of points to unlock stuff. I'm a private 1st class: 3000 very hard to get glitchy online freakin' peer 2 peer points!  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!   Ya just gotta laugh.

Experience Points

Private 1st class: 3000
Specialist: 8,400
Corporal: 14,500
Sergeant: 23,500
Staff Sergeant: 38,500
Sergeant First Class: 56,500
Master Sergeant: 82,500
First Sergeant: 109,500
Sergeant Major: 139,000
2nd Lieutenant: 172,000
1st Lieutenant: 214,000
Captain: 264,000
Major: 330,000
Lt. Colonel: 415,000
Colonel: 535,00
Elite: 675,000

Umm...is there anyway to get more than 100 - 300 points in this game?  Perhaps more kills in a round?

The most I've earned in a round is 1,100 or so.

I found that once you get that error message you have to log out of the PSN and log back in. You dont have to quit the game just log of the multiplayer and back in. If you don't do this you will never get into a game.

I don't recommend changing maps within a session.  Quit out and set up a new session for better reliability.

If your playing Co-op story mode it changes maps at the end of each section .... so there isnt much you can do about that..... just like terrorist hunt...it goes through the rotation of maps..... I guess end and manually move to the next map would work.
