I've got some connection issues at this hotel, barely opens anything...

Froze on the loading/connecting screen twice.  Tired too, so calling it an evening.

GG's.

I am really starting to regret buying this game. I feel like I wasted $60.
I can never get online to play, and the PSN seems screwed up too. For instance, last night my friends list showed 3 ppl playing RB6, zbalata, erickson, & rubinalcohol. Then I got invites from Dk, Prodigy and Mx, when it said they were offline.
Needless to say I got invites from everyone and I could join none of them.
Why is this happening?
Can someone help me?
Do I need to sell this game or will I eventually get to play?

Let's try hooking up in a small group Himroyd.  I'll be on late tonight, like midnight eastern or so.

If I see you around, I'll set something up and send you an invite.  Start off with maybe just some co-op, and see from there...

Maybe I need to open ports on my router.... Anyone know anything about this? FM?

Ya, we all sent you invites.

You're on wireless right?  That was my hunch originally but you couldn't connect at a buddies house either (not sure what his connection was).

Perhaps you can set up a DMZ on your router, that will open up all traffic to your PS3 and give you a better chance of connecting.

But yes I am wireless, and yes I have tried a direct connection with no luck.
I am using a Belkin Wireless router. IDK the model #.

Well I dunno man, can't seem to find a straight answer on how to DMZ a Belkin.  It appears most Belkins have a setup disc and a DMZ option is under the firewall settings.  Not owning a Belkin, I have no clue if this is the case.

I do know that setting up a DMZ has worked for a lot of guys here in other games in the past.  If you can get the specific model # maybe someone can find out more info for you.  I know it has to be an option, we just need to find out how.

I will see what the model # is when I get home...
I wish I knew how to do this stuff myself. I still don't know what a DMZ is other than the wartime meaning...

The dmz opens all ports for that specific computer (PS3 in your case).  You are basically wide open to the internet which would suck for your pc because of viruses, hackers,  but it is essential for some when it comes to gaming (poor connections).  Don't worry about your pc tho because we wouldn't be setting it up for that, only for your PS3 which is of no threat.
