ER1CKSON -> Rules regarding TGV League(s). (10/16/2007 5:23:22 PM)
|
Over the past year or so, we have become lax when it comes to enforcing our rules regarding leaue play. As of this announcement, the following rules are in effect and will be strictly enforced by TGV Staff and TGV League Directors. If you have any questions regarding these rules, please feel free to ask. Thanks for your cooperation and continued support. [image]http://www.thegamesvillage.com/forums/image/s3.gif[/image] TGV rules regarding league play 1) Enjoy yourself and have fun, that is what you are here for. 2) There is a contact thread for scheduling league matches, use it! - 2a) If no effort is made by one person/team after the other has made effort and the match is not completed, then the match will be forfeited to the person/team that made the effort to do so.
- 2b) If there is no suitable time that will work for the match, then get in contact with the person running that particular league ASAP.
- 2c) (Set up an alternate plan for action by the league admin for the situation in 2b. Example: Perhaps lengthen the amount of time to play for the match if applicable. Or if applicable (i.e. Tiger strokes or a timed racing event like Forza) each person plays a seperate TGV member and report their score/time etc. and are compared to their opponent.
3) There are a host of games out there, but please respect your decision of joining a TGV sanctioned league. Not only does it make it harder on the league admin if people are not finishing matches, there are now specific rules for blowing off, quitting during a league, and/or not making an effort to complete: - 3a) 1st offense: Verbal warning via pm.
- 3b) 2nd offense: 3 months suspension from any TGV league. You may particpate in ladder matches or tournaments but will not be allowed to particpate in any league offered by TGV.
- 3c) 3rd offense: 1 year ban from participation in any league offered by TGV.
- 3d) 4th offense: You probably won't get one but if you do, don't expect to play in another league here. [image]http://www.thegamesvillage.com/forums/image/s9.gif[/image]
4) Any conflicts with another league participant should be handled privately between yourself and that member. It is also in your best interest to contact the league host or an admin from the site if you are having problems with another league participant. Public attacks or bickering will not be tolerated. 5) Respect the site and it's members - we're here to have fun and noone is getting paid to do this. The people who run these leagues do it for your enjoyment.
