THE BENDZ -> Warhawk Expansion Pack (10/18/2007 3:16:48 AM)

In the latest issue of Game Informer, they had a brief blurb about an upcoming expansion pack for the PS3 multiplayer-only game Warhawk. Despite no official announcement yet, the expansion is planned for release in December.
The expansion will add an additional vehicle on top of the three currently available vehicles in the original game -- the dropship. The dropship comes armed with six missile turrets and is equipped with the ability to airlift ground vehicles, such as the jeep or the tank.
Other than that and a brief word that some maps will have to be changed to suit the dropship, no other information about the expansion pack have been revealed.
In addition to the expansion pack, developer Incognito and Sony are planning downloadable content for Warhawk, such as new maps, weapon upgrades, additional weapon modes and other character customization content, but there's no word about its status.

In after thought, more and more it surprises me that this game didn't cater more to clans in any way.
I try to imagine loading up 6-10 clan members in one of these dropships, and dropping into a location..
Spreading out on foot taking over a zone...  That $h1t would be cool.


As I'm sitting there last night watching my buddy play Warhawk while I'm playing Resistance...
.... Warhawk still seems a lot more "fun" to me.
When I think about Resistance, it's a more serious business. Not really sure why.


What I'd like to see as an update to this title, is some options!  Party!!?
Lord knows we all like a little party.

Oversite....?  ...or technical issue....

im with u bro if warhawk had a party setup like resistance im sure more of us would play it. only reason i dont is cause not as many tgv peeps are on. it is a great game.

1* 5 New layouts.
2* Clan game server option.
3* Buddy slot reservations.
4* Integrated Warhawk Store.
5* Updated CTF capture/return behavior.
6* Internal stat padder protection.
7* Booster Pack status display at join game list.
8* DualShock3 integration.
9* Separate SIXAXIS motion control on/off per mode (ground, hover, flight).
10* Detailed Player Score display at end of game fixed.
11* Added new server type filters (player, ranked, dedicated, clan, Official Warhawk, etc).
12* Added new server full/open filter.
13* Fall damage exploit fixed.
14* Dismount into walls exploit fixed.
15* Invisible Tank, Turret & Warhawk exploit fixed.
16* Auto-kick of idle players.
17* Add to Favorites button added to end game screen.
18* Increased VOIP volume when not using headset.

That dropship does look sic.  A monster to take down I'm sure.
Especially loaded w/ troops who are on mobile missle turrets! [8D]

thaks 4 the kindness z but if every1 gets into this ill go out and get it again only at a loss of 15 bucks cause i traded it for 25 and its only 40 so not much of a loss there[8D]
