Status: online 		I prefer the Bolt action rifles over the semi-auto's... they seem to allow for more 1-hit-kills (assuming your using stopping power).  Furthermore, the recoil you get from the .50 Cal and the Dragonov dont allow you to fire rapidly anyway.

Status: offline 		The best situation I ever found myself in was when I had my M4 carbine w/ red dot...
...then I picked up someone elses M4 w/ the ACOG scope. Giving me medium AND long range. 
I never switch my M4, only swap perks for choppers, claymores, & UAV jammer.

If you play team deathmatch and your team is getting pwned...  Use UAV jammer.
Skip the silencer, cuz you can kill and hide often times before being spotted by anyone.
Also use the claymores in this scenerio, so you can cover your back-side.

I rarely go under 1/1 k/d even when my team gets destroyed...
Just slow the game down a bit and you'll do fine.  Other than the loss.    Happy shoot'n

Status: offline 		i really like the P90 with a silencer, 3 frag grenades with a UAV jammer. played a clan of guys today on Crossfire who were using the orange dots on the radar to direct them. I always break away from the back in situations like this, especially because my teammates were, on average, a level 8 or less. I had 24 kills and 7 deaths in that game because of my setup. The other team was in such a feeding frenzy that they never saw me coming. one guy had it out for me, he kept trying and trying to kill me, but because i was undetectable, i wore his ass out.

when the game was over, even though we had lost 750 to 340, i could hear them bitching and complaining about my UAV jammer.

Status: offline 		After having Prestige'd 10 times, I grew into some habits.
Here were my general trends...   here they are.

Level 1-9) I generally used the M-16 w/ grenade launcher, or MP5.
Set up the AK-47 and MP5 w/ stopping power as soon as classes are available.

Guns   : MP5, AK-47, Sniper as well
Perk 1 : 3 special nades (or) grenade launcher
Perk 2 : Stopping power (always)
Perk 3 : Steady aim

Level 10) I swap the AK out, and use the M4 carbine.

You have 5 custom classes available.

Perk 1)
Level 14) I set one class w/ bomb squad.
Level 23) I set three classes w/ claymores.
Level 32) I set two classes w/ bandolier. (replace 1 claymore)

Perk 2)
Level ??) I set one class w/ UAV jammer.  (it comes early)

Perk 3)
Level 44) My most anticipated perk of all.....  DEAD SILENCE!!
           I set four classes w/ dead silence. Sometimes, just 3.


One of the other things you can do to rank up faster:

Is look up all the easy challenges; Goodbye, Hard landing, Misery Loves Company, etc.
The bonus points from these help out a lot.
