I,m sorta with karl as far as the 4 man teams go.I think that there is more then enough guys playing this game to have at least 4 or 5 4 man teams.Its alot more fun with 4 man teams and better chances to find your oponents.I would like to get together on a set team night and get all the 2 man teams together and put 2 teams together and have 4 man v 4 man team games.We could go by skill.Put the A class teams with a B or C class teams and match them against a team of the same skill/For example(not takeing a stab at anyones skill here either) have Jess and Hop team with Jay and RH and put them against lets say Schriney and Momo teamed with Jimmy and maybe Richie.Thats a fair battle and everyone is happy.I think of myself as a B or low A player but with me and Evan not playing hardly at all lately,we would prolly be a B class team.We could also have a Handicap deal ffffwhen a team of A class abbility plays a B or c class team.This is only a thought but it sounds fair to me and in the long run its all about Fun and nobody has fun getting pummeled every game out as we all know.[&o]  Any other sugestions are welcomed.I would be glad to host team tourneys like this on Friday nights at 9 or 10 PM est.

I know I don't play on the 360, and I don't even have CoD4 for the ps3, but I would like to interject my thoughts if you guys don't mind.  As fun as 4 or 5 man teams would be, it's been my experience here that the chances of this working are slim to none.  No offense, but didn't you guys try something along these lines with GoW?  How'd that work out,  Halo?  How'd that work out?  Not trying to be Scrooge McDuck here, but If you guys really want this to succeed you need to start with as small of teams as you can get, and in this case that would be 2 players. 

We did two man tag teams for Tiger, and even that was almost impossible to get guys together for set night tournaments, however it did work out pretty good for ladder matches.  We did 3 man teams for RFoM, and we eventually did finish, but it was waaaay behind schedule.  When it comes down to fair match ups, I don't care what game it is, there is always going to be players that are better than other players, and the bottom line is we are here to have fun.  As Ryan stated, and no offense to either of the PP, but they are not the most talented of gamers, yet they are always willing to put their necks and there and get smacked around a bit, but as Hop eluded to, how sweet that victory tastes should you find it, for proof of this just ask Jay about Tigger match at Sahalee in 04.[&o]

I know most of you will probably just blow this off, but as an Admin of this site, all I really want is for everybody here to enjoy them self to the fullest...It's near impossible to get EVERYBODY to agree on the exact same thing, but it seems like most of you want the 2 man teams.  It gets frustrating as staff here to watch TD's put leagues and tourneys together only to have guys drop out midway through or even worse right at the end.  My recommendation would be to start as small as possible, make that work, then and only then ratchet it up a little bit at a time.

I'm having trouble with an invite sent to join a team in the ladder.  Dan sent me one but everytime I click the link it says "Invalid Team Name".

Any suggestions???

  I think that Dan has to be signed up on that particular ladder Jimmy.He may not be signed up for it yet.I will get me and Evan signed up Hopper.

I don't know what could be wrong Jimmy. I signed up our team to the ladder and sent the invite. I am showing as the team leader so it should be fine. Do you still have the email to try it again?

I tried to resend the invite and I got:

If you are trying to join the team via the link provided in an email then try the instructions below.

Try this:

Go to the Ladder

Login to your player account

Click on "Account Manager" under "Player Manager"

In the 3rd panel you will see "Team Invitations"

Click the join link next to the team you want to join

If you have done the above and are still unable to join the team, let me know, I can manually add you to the team via the admin panel. [:)]
