You can do all that stuff with Premiere if you still have it. [&o]

I kinda figured you could... I never really figured out how to use Premiere. It was pretty overwhelming the instant I opened it[:o][:o]. There's video tutorials for how to use Vegas on youtube; Haze sent me a link as well as Vegas 7.The tutorials are easy to follow and the program looks really easy to use. Also Vegas has a capture feature that should work with my capcard.
It works just fine with Vista so far, save for the Sony Media Manager program. As I understand it, you don't need to use the media manager at all[8D]

Ya, there's tuts for Premiere too.  Been doing a lot of watching the past few days.  Can't wait to get After Effects. [8D] Vegas won't work on my PC for some reason...think my RAM is going bad. [sm=1smilie_shrug2.gif]

Hmm, I'll have to check youtube for the premiere tut's as well then[8D]. I still have that program installed as well and it has no compatibility issues with vista. I'll have to give 'em the pepsi challenge and decide which one to keep[:(].

Maybe you need to clean up your temp files??[:D] I use ccleaner every day to clean up deleted file pieces/temp files... all that stuff. Sometimes it's as much as 1Gb of crap it cleans out[&:]. I'm not rrreeaalll computer savvy so I may be totaly off mark on that one.

I could try that for hd space but my problem is RAM. I have sufficient enough to run the program.  Haze has half the RAM I do I have more HD space and it runs on his. [:D]  But, it won't even open on mine...says insufficient memory or some crap. 

Anyway, I've been checking out these sites recently for some premiere tips and after effects tuts.  I plan on doing some cool stuff with After Effects when I get the program. [8D]

Cool, thanks for the links[8D]. Gonna have to stick with premiere because I captured a rounds' worth of footage today to play with. Opened it up in Vegas and the footage was very laggy. Opened it up in premiere and it was just fine.[8D] I've watched a few tut's now and I can at least get started. Though I'm not enjoying playing on SD again[:(]. There's no way I can figure so far to play on my HD monitor or my notebook screen and capture(unless I want to play in a screen the size of a psp screen in the one capture program I have)[:D][;)].
