I'm going to run 'friends-list only' events tonight on the hour @ 8pm, 9pm and 10pm EST.  Each 18 hole event should only take about 1/2 hour... if they are that or less we'll run them at the 1/2 hour intervals too.

We can have up to 8 people in each event and if by chance we get enough participation, ala more than 8 people, then we can schedule ourselves into the bigger 50p official events.

Tonights events will be restricted to novice cags; as the weeks progress we'll add in intermediate and expert cags once everyone gets closer to finishing the offline stuff.  You are not required to participate in all of them; just show up near the hour and play as you can.

The meeting place will be Lobby 1, Floor 1, Room 5 (The safari room).  We will also be (hopefully) using the new Ventrilo voice feature if we can get enough participation.

Please post here if you might show up for one or more of the events tonight.

Hey Momo my computer sits a foot away from where I sit down to play, but I tried to set this up a few days ago with no luck. I'll give it another try soon, so I'll post in the appropriate thread if/when I have questions [8D]

Some guys had a trial run at it today and it looks like we learned a few tricks.... would be happy to help [8D]

Thanx to everyone who made it out tonight! [:)]  We had a rough start no thanx to the newbie host - but we made it onwards and upwards eventually [:o][:(][:(]

Glad to see golf back and running at TGV![:)]  I got cold feet and thought I needed to polish up a little more offline but from the turnout it looks like I won't do that next time.  Look forward to playing online.[:)]
