No need to report for tonight, I will handle that from the administration end.  You will however need to 'confirm' your wins when I complete the reporting.

Typically, when the loser reports, he/she can confirm the win for the winner during the report process.  I however cannot do that when reporting through the admin panel.

You will also need to get signed up at the ladder for a main account and then to the HSG ladder for HSG.

-Find the Ladder button at the top of this page and click it
-On the left column, click New Player Signup - this is the name/pw you will use when logging into the ladder
-Go through the typical registration process
-Once registered, get yourself back to the main ladder and log-in
-Click Hot Shots Golf in the left column
-Click HSG:5 Ladder
-Once at the HSG:5 ladder, find the "Join this ladder" option in the left column and click it
-Enter your PSN ID (you can leave the other stuff blank if you want) and then choose OK.

You are now signed up for the HSG:5 ladder.  You will be placed in the "unranked" area until you have achieved 1 win.

OOOppsss missed that part!

I join the Hot Shots Golf 5 ladder.  So I cannot challenge someone until I become ranked?

We dont go that strict.. pretty laid back. You can verbally (PM) challenge anyone you want right now - but yeah, you'll probably have to wait until you make the ranked list to use the challenge feature that is built into the ladder.

Technically, yes.  But, you can contact anyone here thru the site to setup a match.  Most guys are willing to play whenever they are available, whether you are ranked or not, so I wouldn't take the challenging rules too literally.

You can ask anyone you see online that is a member here for a ladder match and/or just use the "I'm online now" thread to let others here know you are online looking for a game. The challenge feature isn't tied to playing a game with anyone.  It's actually a rarely used ladder feature, to be honest.

In these parcticular tournaments tonight, MOMO is keeping tally on the results and will enter all the data.

On your end, you will have to confirm a win(s) if you finish ahead of other TGV members.

When you go to the ladder page, sign in...

On the left you will see the 2nd group of options is headed by 'Player Manager'.  The 4th option under it is Confirm a Win.  For the tournament tonight this would need to be done after MOMO enters the data.  I am sure he will posts tournament results and let everyone know when he has done the leg-work and everyone should confirm the wins.

If you lose a match to a TGV player, go to the HSG:5 ladder, log-in and then find that players ID # (the # on the far right column of the ladder).  Click the "report a loss" option in the left column and then enter their ID#.  Follow the steps accordingly until it wont let you press any more buttons.

You can keep the score areas blank.  I will enter the score as a positive number if both players shot under par.  The problem with the score area is that it will throw an error if the winning player has a "lower" score than the loser.  ie: If I you lost to me -11 to -9, you would say my score was 11 and yours was 9.... or, again, you can just leave it blank.

An alternate method for the score part...

I always give the winner a 1 and myself a 0 when I report.

Good one... now that you mention it, I think I was wrong in leaving it blank; that will also throw an error.  1-0 has been the accepted default.
