Hey all; I was considering trying something a little bit different this time.

I'm rolling the dice on this with the assumption that we will probably have more than 8 people tonight, so how about we try a GF event.  This way, if/when more than 8 TGV'ers make it out, we wont have to split up due to the 8p maximum for private matches.

Though we will likely have a few non-TGV players in the event with us, you can sort them out (sort to only friends) by using the Square button when in the tourney.

Here is the list of TGV events for tonight.  You can sign up for any 1 of these events right now if you desire as HSG allows you to enter up to 12 hours in advance.  You cannot enter more than 1 at a time so make sure to schedule yourself for the earlier one if you plan on attending more than 1.  Once the event is complete, you can then re-enter the lobby and sign up for the next one.  Note: You must be on the appropriate floor to sign up for an event.  ie: for event number 1, go to the 7th floor when you log in.  If you are playing in events 1 and 2, go to the 3rd floor after you exit event #1 to sign up for event #2.

Also, you need to be signed up at least 3 minutes in advance to secure your spot.  I recommend not procrastinating and getting yourself in at least 10 minutes in advance.

TGV will meet up at the campground around the bon-fire on the appropriate floor for that events timeslot.  So, for the first event, we will all meet up in 1-7-6 (Clubhouse 1, Floor 7, Lobby 6).  #2 will be 1-3-6 and #3 will be 1-1-6.

All of tonights events will be counted as ladder matches.  You do NOT have to report.  I will be trying something new for the ladder tonight.  Instead of reporting to the 1 person who placed higher, we will be reporting to EVERY player who placed higher.  Since I understand this could be a pain to do, I will be making the reports from the administration panel.  You, as the player, will only need to confirm your wins when the night is over.

17 minute break....

Event #3 @ 9:45 thru 10:26 (20:45 thru 21:26)

MOMOwheeler -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 8:34:34 AM)

Updated the first post to include deatils on ladder reporting.

zbalata -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 8:37:34 AM)

So I need to sign up on the ladder if I want to play...?

MOMOwheeler -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 8:41:38 AM)

If you want to be officially included in future results pages, yes.  Not only will we be incorperating the ladder for these events, but I will also be utilizing the TGV League Application.

Though it will take 24 hours or so to insert all the results, the League App. will allow for ongoing statistics for all the HSG tourneys that I run.  If you want to be included in those statistics, you will need to participate on the ladder.

zbalata -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 8:46:17 AM)

You mean... KEEP TRACK of just how crappy I really play?????  lolol  ..damn...

Report ID#2037  I'll do it.... [:o] [:(]

Roughdawg4 -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 8:49:35 AM)

So when I get off work at 4pm I can sign up for the matches and play.

Roughdawg4 -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 8:50:43 AM)

I went in the application form but Hot Shots Golf 5 is not listed?

MOMOwheeler -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 8:53:44 AM)

I will be spending today setting up the HSG League Area.  You will not be required to sign up for it as it is linked directly to your forum account.  Speaking of which, would you prefer that I updated your forum unsername to match your current PS3 ID to avoid any future confusion between the membership?

Correct.  As of this very moment, anyone can sign up for any of the 3 events thanx to the HSG 12 hours scheduling.  THough, as previously stated, it will only let you sign up for one at a time, so, sign up for the first event you plan on competing in.

IRISH004 -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 10:34:18 AM)

Will there be seperate divisions for advanced and easy swing?

MOMOwheeler -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 10:40:06 AM)

Negative.  The developers did an excellent job of making both swing styles equal in comparison.  Have have seen just as many (-18)'s shot with advanced as I have with Traditional (based on other players performances in ranked events).

Roughdawg4 -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 10:41:23 AM)

yes if you can change Sharpshooter to Roughdawg4, I would appreciate that.  I think I might have screwed up and I have an incomplete username going to Roughdawg4.  I went to sign up and I forgot Sharpshooter was my HSG4 handle.

MOMOwheeler -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 10:48:10 AM)

I have updated the account you are currently using to Roughdawg4 and deleted the invalid account. [8D]

ER1CKSON -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 11:03:01 AM)

SwAeromotion -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 11:13:58 AM)

Couer D'Alene baybeeee!!!

Roughdawg4 -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 11:31:51 AM)

Thanx alot.  So when I finish a tournament tonight, I need to report to every person that finished ahead of me?

Drgnfyr5 -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 11:42:07 AM)

MO is going to handle the reporting tonight so we wont have to worry about it.

BTW Thanks MOMO. [:)][:)]

MOMOwheeler -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 11:44:50 AM)

No need to report for tonight, I will handle that from the administration end.  You will however need to 'confirm' your wins when I complete the reporting.

Typically, when the loser reports, he/she can confirm the win for the winner during the report process.  I however cannot do that when reporting through the admin panel.

You will also need to get signed up at the ladder for a main account and then to the HSG ladder for HSG.

-Find the Ladder button at the top of this page and click it
-On the left column, click New Player Signup - this is the name/pw you will use when logging into the ladder
-Go through the typical registration process
-Once registered, get yourself back to the main ladder and log-in
-Click Hot Shots Golf in the left column
-Click HSG:5 Ladder
-Once at the HSG:5 ladder, find the "Join this ladder" option in the left column and click it
-Enter your PSN ID (you can leave the other stuff blank if you want) and then choose OK.

You are now signed up for the HSG:5 ladder.  You will be placed in the "unranked" area until you have achieved 1 win.

ER1CKSON -> RE: HSG Tourney 3/31 (3/31/2008 11:45:06 AM)

He'll still need to confirm any wins he receives thru the ladder tho. [&o]
