Seriously though Roughdawg, most of us have been around since 2004 playing Tiger Woods, and any one of us would vouch for the rest of any of us that there would never be any shananigans.....in fact for the most part it's usually the generosity going in the other direction.

I was strictly refering to being disconnected when I wrote the above post.  Being disqualified for a shot clock violaiton could be the result of a 'glitch', honestly trying but not being able to complete the hole on time, or purposefully taking too long if you're having a bad round.

However we decide to handle the shot clock violation, I hope it's not too harsh because I  know from experience that  linking a couple of tough/bad shots together can easily have you uncomfortably close to DQ.

Status: online 		WOW I didnt know you had those kinda problems Brody! I thought it was just Time issues. Irrelevant though as no one is questioning you bro. The question is how do we handle it. The time is set by the person who sets up the room. The time will never be set by a TGV member to gain an advantage so that isnt an issue. the problem with timing out is that you get kicked from the tourney and not just lose a stroke! I think that time outs should not be counted as part of the matches. If you time out then you dont report and no one reports to you. IMO it is the best way to handle it. If you were way back and want to report fine or if your opponent wants to report to you fine it is a choice. However no judgements can be made on how a person would play after he is kicked so IMO you should be required to report or be reported to. JMHO

One issue is if 2 random TGV players wind up in a random tourney do you report the loss or take the win according to whoever has the best score?

I would guess no.  It's not a TGV event and it wasn't agreed upon before the random tourney started that it was in fact a ladder match. 

People could report if they wanted too but there should be no obligation to do so, IMO, if it's not set beforehand to be an official ladder match.

Status: online 		I don't know if anyone took what I said the wrong way, but I was agreeing with brody with what happened to him looked like a glitch.  I hope everyone would just play it out because that is one of the reasons I joined.  Everyone here is really friendly and it is all fun.

This is the first time I ever played an online game and was around people that I knew.  It was awesome

Status: offline 		Would be pretty easy to arrange it as a ladder match after you notice another member in there, but if it's just a random occurance then I agree, it should not be mandatory.

Status: online 		No the 3 events last night were played as a TGV event so it counts. The idea was whether 2 TGV players enter a random event unknowingly. MO is taking care of Brody's record due to the disco problem. We will decide on the rule after everyone has had their say so on the issue.  I think youll find that if you came here for fun and friendliness you made the right choice!
