Apparently there are freezing issues with this game, on both consoles.  I've read several articles already and people complaining left right and center about the game locking up on the PS3 and 360.  I thought it was bogus at first but after a couple hours of playing, I finally froze up and had to reboot. [:'(] 

Not sure how serious the issue is yet but it's looking like it might be a problem.  I'm sure we'll get some feedback from members tomorrow and on the net as well.  Makes ya wonder why this wasn't mentioned during any of the reviews *cough* payoffs *cough*[:(]

I played six hours straight with no problems. Checked the first few pages on XBOX.com and there was one thread on the third page asking if the 360 version was freezing. Not much talk about it on the 360 front. There are the typical game bashers though. I think the hype and the high review scores have non-GTA fans buying this game just to find out they are not GTA fans. [:(][:(][:(]

There was a post on the PS Forums by someone who had contacted Rock star on the issue .... they told them to delete the game data and the save data and then reinstall .... according to him that works fine as he has no more freezing issues. Also I checked the EU PS Forums and there are zero reports of any freezing issues there .... go figure [&o]

I havent played 1 ****ing second yet and it's already froze up twice during the opening sequence [X(]

yes.... 2 times going on a third.... at 15 minutes a ****ing pop.  I've been fiddle-farting with this stupid POS since 4pm.

On my way back to gamestop to get a replacement disc after is yet again froze up (4th time).... I'm going to reserve my right to completely thrash Rockstar by giving them ONE more chance [:@]
