I'm not saying I wont get it,I'm just saying that I wont get it on release day.Last year i didnt get it untill it was out for a month and low and behold the online was shtt as it was the last 3 years.I even bought the 360 and the PS3 versions of 08 and after 3 weeks of online glitches and freezes,I traded both of them for other games.I will say the offline of TW08 was great and maybe the best of all the TW games,but the online still stunk up the joint.There are just to many good online games to play with very little online problems.And I only bought Tiger for online gameing anyway.I might just buy it for the PSP so i can play it at lunchtime at work.I bought Hot Shots Open Tee from the PS store for $10.99 three weeks ago and i have loved every minute of it.I even downloaded it to Blakes PSP and the kid that plays on or baseball team and spends the night all the times PSP.All for the one payment of $10.99.[&:]

Tiger release date was moved up apparently:

Went by Gamestop and saw that the game is scheduled for release on August 19th. That was for the PS3, though I'm sure it's the same across the board. I believe that's the earliest release date we've seen in 4+ years.

That makes the release date 2 months from today.[&:][:)]

I'm buying it on day 1. I plan on playing online all year, if I'm happy with the game.

Day one purchase on the 360 for me as well. This will probably be the first year since 2002 that I don't buy it for the any Playstation platform. [:D]

I was happy with 2008. I had made it into the top 50, and was headed for top 10, like 2004. Then I got disconnected in a 4-way match and lost all 2000 points. That's when I quit. If not for that I'd be in the top 10, atm. All of which is to say, with any luck, I'll be full timing it this year. [8D]

Have not really played 08 that much. I am bored with offline gaming and I have at least another two months until we are setup in our new house and I am can have online gaming back. Until then it is DVD's and baby time!
