Status: online 		I started maxing last night without being hooked up to the PSN.  Now this AM while I am maxing my CAG I am getting Gamernet challenges to beat on every hole.  Is this/did this happen to everyone else?

Status: offline 		Yes it gives you gamernets cahllenges thru everything! The good thing is you get to beat them by just Maxing out if you beat one you get Points from EA!

Status: offline 		i played the gamernet challenges online beating other peoples setting for long drives  LOL  i now got over 5000+ points better get back to golf  LOL  it also has setting for just the people on your friends list to see where you rank with them!

i just got done with a 12hr marathon  7 last night till 7 this morning! time for a break

Switched to a straight controller myself. Still having trouble maxing out.

Status: offline 		Let's hope not...the rankings would be useless. I suspect you may be able to use them during the Tiger Challenge? That would be quite useful.

So I'm beginning to think that there's no such thing as maxed...

Currently at 9.3

And now back to 9.0 after a pefect tiger challenge. max drives..every fairway..every green...stock....and I LOSE points. WTF? This is WEAK!

They may have tainted an otherwise perfect game, by this new losing attbibutes crap. Gettin pretty sick of trying to max this guy. Shooting 50'ish and losing points.

Tainted? What does it matter it you are absolutely maxed or not? The difference between a 10, 11 or 12 character is minimal in the whole scheme of things. Success in the game still comes down to shot making and course management IMO.

Status: offline 		I'm shooting stock #'s and losing attribute #'s. Setting records for fairways and greens hit, and losing points....

I'd say the game is less than perfect in that regard. Slighty tainted, if you will.

For the PS3 folks:

My buddy who froze yesterday in the lobby lost his entire profile. He had to start over with a new golfer. I recommend backing up your guy on your desktop.

I don't think penalizing a golfer who sucks, is a good idea. I give this years attribute system a D- so far.

I give the game an A-.

Very possibly the best golf game I have ever played.

Status: offline 		Do EA sports games have dedicated servers on Live like they do on the PSN?  Or, are they peer-to-peer connections like most 360 games are?  That right there could be the difference in online experience.  We've all had run-ins with EA's dedicated servers going back to the PS2 days...

Something doesn't add up..

I have this problem with CoD4 A LOT ever since the last PS3 system update. I thought it was only CoD, but that's all I've been playing. Anyway, it just sounds like the same problem.. Haze and I had connecting issues to begin with, but his connect wasn't acting right for a while that day. When we tried again a few hours later everything worked fine

Fairway speed is really your green speed and Green speed is really your fairway speed. This applies to all modes!!!

This has been tested and is a fact.
