Playing a 2 way sim now. Guy is out driving me by 40-60 yards. I'm not maxed in power, I'm at about 11. Wtf? He has the Elvis suit, for whatever that's worth...

Max attributes with that suit, cost is 5,000,000

This also brings your tuning levels to 100%

The 100% power with ZERO sweet spot is what is making it possible to hit your driver over 400 yards consistantly.

Last years driver read 314 yards, this year my driver reads 371 yards [&:] 

Reminds me of the snap hook days, its a little cheesy but it is fun. TOUR mode is still the way I intend on playing most of my Tiger 09

I'm assuming that we only have 1 Driver in the bag this year?  Tuning the driver anywhere from an 8 degree all the way up to possibly a 12 degree is our only driver choice from what I can see unless I'm missing something.

Kinda sucks that we get 3 wood choices, but only 1 Driver[:-] I was playing Cog Daily last night and lemme tell ya...I think I yelled "FORE" a few times overshooting the runway big time on the drivables # 8 and #10.[:(]  So used to last years where that course, there was barely anything to drive in 1, but this year there's like 6 or 7[&:]

Yea I am surprised Spec. I am not far along I just assumed they would add some drivers at certain points of your progress. That is disappointing![:@]

Once you're way up there on expert clubs, your 3W is like 310-320 range and that is basically another driver IMO.

If there is something that will keep me from gettin this game, that would be it....I was hoping for a game where you would be forced to hit a solid approach, and not just drive every green and/or pitch/flop on every hole [:D]  If they're going to have 400 yard drives they need to make the holes longer IMO.

I agree ^^. 400 yard driver is weak. Much like how building skills is weak. Other than that, as for game play, this game is bad arss. Of course the online isn't really fixed on the PS3 side.

Current rating:
Graphics = 9.0
Gameplay = 8.5
Online Play = 8.0 (simult. play is sick, but there are some connectivity issues & lobby freezes going on)

*Still the best golf game I have ever played. The graphics overcome the gameplay issue's. And even in 04-05, connectivity wasn't perfect.

I haven't had any online issues connecting or in the lobby. 

just my .02 on that. 

I keep my PS3 DMZ'ed because many online games anymore give you ports they recommend to open.  Tiger always needed it done because the matches are peer to peer and not linked through a centeral spot (at least in the past it wasn't.. not sure now)

played the simultaneous with emms and lefty last night and it ran smooth as a babies bottom[8D]
