This isn't freezing, my data is corrupt.  [:'(]  Just sticks on the mission loading screen when you launch the game.  Thought maybe it was a bad disc but it still works fine in Andrea's, her save loads right up.  I copied the save from my PS3 and put it on hers to see if it was corrupt....sho nuff...wouldn't load.

Starting over from scratch. [8|][X(]

No doubt. [:'(]  It won't even let me start a new game now...just sits there loading.  Have to PS out every time.  Gonna delete  everything I guess and reinstall. [X(]

Sorry to everyone on my buddy list, keep logging in and out every 2 minutes.  I know how we all love that little pop-up when someone signs on. [:(]

Followed steps 1-8 in the Take Two suggestions I posted in the Freezing topic.  Seems to be working now.  Didn't do step 9, too lazy. [:(]  Gonna skip the last 3 steps too, no way I'm taking auto save off and driving back to my safe house after every mission.

She's hogging up mine.  The only time I've gotten to play is when she falls asleep.  Tonight she went outside for a smoke and I said screw it, it's my turn. [:(]

i hate being unhooked from the internet too.  It sucks, but my game has not froze one time since I have done it.

About 12-13 hours of gameplay ..... wasted.  GRRR![:@]

Any idea what causes the data to become corrupt?  I'm picking this up Monday and would like to be able to avoid it if at all possible.[:D]

No idea.  My best suggesstion would be to back up your "good" saved game data on a memory stick or other usb storage device at regular intervals.  Once it's corrupt, that point of your game is lost (entire progress in my case). However, now that I think about it, I just overwrote the previous saves as I went along in the game.  Perhaps if you created a new save point you'd have more than the one reference point to load from if it gets corrupted. I only had one save file so I was screwed.

Probably too late but maybe not.  If you didn't delete, try disabling internet, media sharing, screensaver, etc, etc.  Basically the 12 steps I posted in the freezing thread minus deleting the data and reinstalling.  I also left autosave on so don't worry about the last 3 steps either.

Andrea experienced it this morning and it loaded on her 3rd try.  I tried like 10 times and nada.  Anyway, it just happened to her again and she disabled internet and screensaver and it loaded right up.

WHEW!!!I disabled internet and screensavers and it works.I added the current save to the 2cnd slot aswell.

Nice, at least you didn't have to start from scratch. [:(]  I'm thinking I just got pissed off and should have tried a few things before deleting it and starting over. [:o]

This happened to me last night when I stated the game up. I tried three times but it wouldn't get past the loading screen. I guess I will try the 9 steps.

This really bites. [:'(]
