Well let's go back a little farther. Until 2007, the right stick was the swing stick by default. In 07, they switched it to the left stick. Presumably, you were to either play left handed, or cross handed. And of course cross handed only came about because of folks who couldn't tap full red with their left hand. Funny how the fact that they couldn't do something with their left hand, eventually led us all to have to use our left hand.

Offline you could change it up, but it didn't work online (at least in the beginning). In 2008 they again released a game with the left stick as the default stick. You could switch it and it worked online from day 1.

So with the background info laid out:

I'm hoping that the right stick is once again the default stick…so that when I go to my friend’s houses, I don't have to play left handed.

The game stop shows the release date as Aug 26 (online). I suppose the list in their store in Burke that says 8-19, is incorrect.

Eurogamer.com says that the European PS3 demo will be available for download on 8/7/08. They didn't have word from EA Sports on the XBox 360 demo at press time, but it could be that we'll be discussing demos tomorrow night!
