Hop also tried to sink me ....... but he was not successful ..... however Schriney was
I was more fortunate though .... myself and all of my crew survived .... at least we knew better then to go down with a sinking ship.

Let me set the record straight before everyone thinks this was intentional Demolition Derby.  This was our first try at online so we didn't quite know how the clock would work.  Jeff set it up at 9pm for a 3 day season........well by 10:30 we were only 30 or so hours into the online season so we pretty much all knew this game NOT going to get finished.

So before I exited the game I went on several torpedo runs at the Northwestern(joe...very original), BLACKPEARLl(I think that was Jess' name, the POOPSCOOP(karl) and the IBLOWYOU(Schriney)......I had all 4 captains keeping a lookout for my THATSMABOAT!!!!!

Actually it was the Cornellia Maria.  I didn't know we could load our custom boats.  Next time, watch out when the black and gold 1STRONGMFER is coming your way.  It will be messy

Very true Bill. I forgot to mention all those Details. When I closed the room (we did not finish) at 12:30 EST, there was still around 20 hours on the clock. A 3 day season match must take about hours. Hopefully we can set something up for 1.5 or 2 days.

Actually I told Schriney that since the game was going to be a wash we needed to test out all aspects of the game.....including COLLISION DETECTION

BTW did I actually sink jess?  I went right through his boat 3 times so collision detection wasn't too good there.....I would however have liked to hear his voice when he saw me coming off the starboard side at ramming speed!

Yep.  I was on chat with Jess when you stalked him and crushed his hull.  He mentioned that the ship wasn't handling well.  When he told the engineer to fix the problem the reply he got was classic.  The engineer told him" Are you Nuts?  I can't fix that!"...Then about 10 minutes later Jess tells me he is sinking and everyone is jumping off the ship.....An absolute classic with the play by play from Jess!

I was in my fourth king season when it started... now that save must be corrupt or something because I freeze everytime I load it. Save often... I didn't lose much.

Played it for a few good hours this weekend... LOTS of freezing problems while in Fast-Time mode.

Aside from being forced to save every 20 minutes, I really like the game a lot.  It's definately not an arcade game as it's primarily strategy and playing the waiting game but I am digging it.  I'd say it's a lot like Sim City; good stuff.  Keep an eye out for the mean green machine "Smokinpots" if you are out on the water
