This game will be a easy one. I'm driving 365ish and I can pitch the ball 85ish. The hole is not very sensitive. I consistantly hole out all three holes. The funniest thing ever is I can turn my SW into a 9 iron that flys 190y in the air....LOL.

How are you driving the ball 365? You must have gone through all those drills a lot to build up your power that much.

The graphics are not very good at all, you can barely see the ball on the green. The announcers are so bad it's annoying. Hopefully the game plays better than the demo but it's not very encouraging

I beleive the Demo is only 480P, I will agree with you now but I think it will be much better when the game releases in full HD.

I am very happy with the direction this is going and I am looking forward to 8/26 to buy this game at launch. Looks like another 12 months of Tiger for me. I hope some of you here at the Village come back and play on the PS3 side.

The demo is 720p and it looks good on my TV.

I also thought the graphics were lacking. There was a graininess that I don't see in TW 07 and 08. I think the reason it is so hard to see the ball on the green is because of the lighting. The "evening" yellow tint distorts everything, IMO. There are also naturally "yellowish" textures in the greens at the Gary Play CC, and the yellow tint muddies things even more.

The other TW 09 course shots I've seen looked far less surrealistic than The Gary Player CC in their lighting, so I'm hoping this is an aberration.

I also think playing the game in Tour Pro mode, particulary with sweetspot reduced - through tuning - clubs will yield a more demanding gaming challenge.

Ya I did. Don't waste any time on hank drills. Play only three holes and lay up to within 100y on the par 5. Anything within a 100y defines short game. Takes a couple hours. and also stay within 10feet, that defines accuracy. Good luck.

I swore that I wouldn't buy this game if ball (follow) cam was the only way to view the action. Well, much to my delight, it has been confirmed that "Presentation Cam" will be an option for Tour Pro mode play! Here is one of the developer's posts on the subject from EA.com's Tiger Woods forum:
"Regarding the cameras: You can choose presentation cam for your own golfer if you are playing in Tour Pro, this is disabled in other modes due to the spin you can add to the ball while it's in flight."
The Executive Producer of Tiger Woods, Mike Taramykin, has also confirmed this to be fact. Mike adds that it will also be possible to build your character through Season play and Tiger Challenges.
If you're uncertain of how Presentation Cam works, it was an option in Tiger Woods 08 for how one views the action of recorded players in Gamernet challenges. It gives you a much greater variety of camera angles, and quite often uses the snap-to-lie (with tracking) that I would like to use all the time.
This certainly changes my outlook on Tiger Woods 2009... I've gone from being an unconvinced renter to a likely buyer!

I oplayed this thing again for another hour and a half today and i realy like the new concept.The game is going to be great offline as allways.I can pray it is as good online.But I give the demo a solid 8.5 only because it doesnt have a 3 player online option.
