Take a swing without turbo, most people will get 98%.

Take a swing without turbo and a short back swing and you'll get 100%

The same thing happens with the turbo.....Full swing= 115% Short swing= 122%.

Good to hear that I am not a goof!!! I havent been able to get 100! I have notice that a short(barely short ) gives a 99 but I have never gotten 100. With the normal Driver let the edge of the club just touch the back of the head gets me 99! any further and it is 98%

...let me know how well this one works:  Full boost, straight hits, lag, etc.  It would at least get rid of one cord if it matches up to the  corded Intecs

I just saw it at Gamecrazy as well for $40.   They were all out of the Hori's for 360.

I think I bought my HORI online at some place named 'JR' out of NY. The link to it should still be in the tw08 PS3 controller thread somewhere.

Yeah, J&R electronics.  I bought mine at the store in Manhattan...NYC when I was there for work one day last year.  It worked out nicely...I just happened to be working down in the city the day after I learned about the HORI.  I love it...  The analog stick sensitivity adjustment is fantastic. The store is HUGE...it's like two blocks long and is divided into substores.  It is down by the financial district.  I think it was $39.99.  I got the red one.  The tax in NYC is outrageous, but is was less than shipping.  The web site might be called J&R computers or J&R electronics, and it is in New York City.

Anyone having problems getting 121-122%.  First day I played I had no problems.  Now, regardless of whether I turbo, turbo and tap, or tap...it's a miracle if I get above 115.

Strangely, I had no trouble with 122% until I read this yesterday....
So last night I went about 6 round where I COULD NOT hit it 122%...
Damn jinxed me!

SO...

Here's the trick which I learned... and somehow forgot.

Turbo users only;  You can hold down your turbo button ahead of the swing.
As you pull back and you watch the ball fill with color,
Watch for the secondary set of white lines that pulse inside it.
As they reach the "skin" of the golf ball, you are at 122%
Just watch for them and you'll see EXACTLY what I mean.
