I think this will work but needs a 50$ spliter from radio shack also.

With the splitter it's pretty much the same price as the Intensity HDMI vidcap device.

Are you a 100% sure you need a new one?  I know they work in laptops, it's just a matter if yours has the right spec's for it.

Dude if that thing would have worked 4 me I would have had it thats why i've been looking 4 something like what I posted plus if needed it servers more of a purpose 4 me cause u can use it on tvs. I still say soon there will be some kind of usb device that plugs into the ps3 has 2 or 3 Gb and records gameplayonly thing about recording in hd is where 2 upload vimeo says only 500mb a week no way any montage over 2 mins in hd would be less then 500 mb but still would be nice 4 myslef and im sure there will be somewhere 2 upload.

2Gb of RAM is exactly what I have... wouldn't be able to run any other applications at the same time
